Riding my 2024 Ducati Multistrada V4 RS for the first time in Miami, Florida. Top Speed run on the RS was amazing. Raced a Ducati Diavel V4 with Termingnoni exhaust. Observed some crazy sport bike riders racing on the highway.

I would love to see a GPS reading instead of just the speedo. These speedo's are notoriously off and at that speed it could be off by 6-8 mph. Most likely going close to 165 but highly doubt that 172 reading is accurate. Not at all knocking the bike, just stating the fact that these speedometers read high. I own a V4S so I feel the pain.

I appreciate your Multistrada V4 RS videos. I love the bike and ordered one myself. That said. I did some checking on the BST wheels…they are made in South Africa. I found multiple complaints about the wheels breaking due to pot holes. When the customer tried to deal with the company it was a miserable experience. You have to pay out of pocket to send the wheels to South Africa and pay to have them picked up and sent back. And that’s if they chose to fix them. Other wise you have to pay for both the fix and the shipping costs. F-those wheels. I’ll stick with the ones Ducati put on them. Also I spoke to a big Ducati dealer about the after market carbon parts 650ib put on his bike. The Ducati dealership said to stay away from these after market parts because Ducati carbon parts from Ducati have a special weave they do and they are UV treated. I looked at the description of these after market carbon parts and none say they are UV treated. Which means they will “turn yellow” according to the Ducati dealer. I can’t wait for you to show more videos of your RS. I am so excited. The one I ordered will be my first Ducati, a real dream come true. It’s hard waiting for them to make it! lol

Doesn't seem to be that much between it and the diavel, glad I stayed with my V4 Pikes Peak in that case (they both have basically the same granturismo engine). Really hope you enjoy yours, may it bring you only smiles
Thanks Bro. Actually, the RS is alot faster than the Diavel. When we swapped bikes, the RS destroyed the Diavel. The RS engine revs 3k rpm higher than the Pikes Peak and the bike is lighter. It's a more thrilling riding experience indeed.

After the Multistrada RS launch I am quite sure that some time in the not so far future there will also be some kind of S/RS version of Diavel V4 coming with that Desmo engine and other good bits.

If anything--I guess I'm impressed how that Diavel V4 stays in the hunt--ahead even--from 60 MPH until 120++ MPH--with no aerodynamics. I'll simply OFT re-map my Pikes Peak and call it good--saving about $8000; more frequent and higher maintenance cost; even shorter cruise range/less fuel mileage and an extra 1000 RPMs (?) to roll along at 80 MPH. My PP will never see a track. I would use consider using my Hyper 950 SP on track--if I ever do that again--and the RS price difference bought almost half that Hyper for me.

Yup. RS is faster. I'm talking about the race with you on the Diavel at 7:16, starting at 60 mph: At 123 MPH the light guy on your RS finally comes past. It's simply me wanting a very sporty tourer--from 40-120 MPH, rather than a race bike that can tour. I think we both got what we wanted! This helped me realize that.

So how does the R/S compare to the Pikes peak?
RS is alot faster and more refined. Reline on RS is 13,500rpm and 9,500rpm on Pikes Peak. RS has a dry clutch and PP has wet clutch. RS is much better bike.
Congratulations on your channel. Consider checking the input gain on your microphone. It is constantly clipping. Even the sound of your voice comes out distorted imagine the sound of the motorcycle. Kind regards

No break in for that motor! Florida is so strange... the cops don't seem to mind you parking on the side of the highway to unload race bikes and go 200mph. But apparently you can't split lanes!

Bought the pikes peak about 3 weeks before the RS came out. Was so depressed!!! Planning on getting wifey the Diavel, looks like it’s just as fast?

Ugh... what an upset. I tap out at 160 on my V4S Multi and weigh 180. So that delta for 10 MPH is such an eye roll. I was honestly expecting 180. And that's fine for running from cops and stuff 160 even, but keeping up with your group of sport bikes doing 180-200 is like me being the grom of the group. BOOOOOOOOOOO Ill just get a Pani dammit.
The Speedometer on the multi v4 is broken, it is actually about 160 mph, 10% error.

@@650ib Not, I checked it with my radar detector, as the speed increases the error percentage increases, when the speedometer says 152 the radar detector says 140. The Uniden R3 uses GPS to capture speed so I know it is correct, you can also see this on top speed videos of the V4S and you can see this in your own video at 6:20 the speedometer is reading higher than the Diavel's top speed yet the Diavel is leading...
This is not surprising, Ducati will cut corners wherever they can.

@@Nick-Edwards Plastic all over a $40k bike where carbon fiber SHOULD be, dirt cheap handguards, no tire pressure sensors, no electronic gas cap, no steering dampener when the bike OBVIOUSLY needs it, still no Apple Carplay and Android Auto. Cutting corners.
@@Waldo1122 The RS comes with carbon fiber handguards. They didn't send a mounting bracket for the right side handguard so we installed plastics. I have the carbon fiber guards on my RS now. With the RS, you're paying for the EPIC Desmosidici Stradale 1103cc engine, dry clutch, titanium subframe, matte/frost colorway, advanced Ohlins suspension and some carbon fiber bits. It's well worth the money and a great improvement in performance over the Pikes Peak.
+1 tooth on the rear sprocket will hit the top speed faster I guess on 6th gear it crawls from 11k rpm going up

So same speed as Multistrada V4S...its 270km/h...with more 22bhp...not impressed
172 wasn't the top speed. I'm tall and heavy and the bike only had 65 miles on it. I did another top speed run last week and it went 179mph with 525 miles on the bike. The engine red line at 13,500 and dry clutch make it a very amazing bike.

The engine comes broken in from the factory. We completed 10 heat cycles on the engine and ran it hard 🦾🦾🦾
