I add my own 1/4 inch tubing watering system to my raised beds so that the water is directed to the stems for the most efficient watering.

Perfect timing, motivation for more people to grow their own food.

Very helpful video, I find a lot of people do either all raised beds or all ground, but I wanted to do a combo like you are doing

Another reason raised beds dry out is the soil is not compacted like a flat bed that is walked on. Something I have found that helps in watering raised beds and containers is to bury plastic bottles that have holes in the bottom. Fill the bottles and let it drain into the soil, watering the roots and not the surface where the weeds and their seed are found. You can also put Epsom salts and other supplements in the bottle to be applied to the roots.

Great looking garden but you seem to slam raisedbed growing....I grow in many raisedbeds without a single issue and mulch them and they don't dry out and they warm up for planting out earlier than growing in the ground. ..You can control the soil quality and height helps my back working good. You can mulch raisedbeds.. if you practice early morning watering and late in the evening watering becomes a non issue. You need to mulch your beds and they will not dry out.

I am mostly blind but it kind of looked like there were 10 bricks with the holes in them? Could you plant herbs in those?
