Your saw / shop cabinet is nicer than a lot of furniture cabinets.... Great build, very informative... and yes, it was entertaining to see you struggle getting the cabinet under the saw... I also noticed the New Yankee Workshop sticker...
Thanks, I am in trouble with my wife for having nicer shop furniture than we do in the house. 😜. Yep, I grew up watching PBS, Norm, Tommy, and Roy Underhill were my jam.
I don't know why but the idea of putting walnut edge banding on solid wood is cracking me up. I got some great ideas from your build thank you for sharing.
I thought it was only old guys like me that used 6' wooden rules. I learned to pipe fit with them in the 70's. For a lot of woodworking they are better than tapes. Really good for relative dimensioning with the brass extender.
The carts are manufacturer specific, so unless you are using the same manufacturer as I am, it won't me accurate for you. Look up you make and model number of you dado set. That manufacturer should have one.
I use the Amana Dado Blade set, not becuse it is the best, but at the time I bought it, it was a good afordable option. amzn.to/3Ytdw4e It does what I ask and makes a clean cut. However, the next time I buy a dado blade I will most likely get a 10" version. I am always wishing I had more depth of cut

Even your shop furniture is beautiful!
Lol, thanks

😂 like adding hot sauce, to hot sauce.
I'm glad you pick up a few ideas

For sure, I'm not sure why they have fallen out of favor. Works better that a floppy tape measure, and longer than a typical rule.
Very nice cabinets and you will love being able to keep all your table saw accessories right there where you need them!
Perfection!
Nice work
What a great build, thank you for sharing.
Great looking project Brian. I need to do something similar with my unisaw.
Thanks, Yep your shop is packed, you could for sure use more storage space
Can you show us your dado blade chart in some future video? Or a link where we could download it would be great. Thanks, Brian!

What brand dado set do you have?

What is that noise at 7:35? Maybe you fix that first, then build your drawers.
🤣 maybe someday I'll rewax the table
