The Meteorological Department has issued an official warning for unstable weather in Northern Thailand from September 29 to October 3, 2024. It might not be over.

Thank you for highlighting the recovery of the area. The resilience of the Thai nation against these events is magic to see. No crying or begging - just get on with it - and much support from other provinces with flood relief pouring (sorry!) in the areas trhat need it. Lets hope the unstable weather holds off for a bit or is not as bad as feared. Please keep these reports coming in so we in the south of the country can appreciate what you (all) are going through

We live next to the Chiangmai University and we see the floods news only on UA-cam… Good it didn’t come to our area. Will go see what’s going on in the old city. In Nimman also all good, as well as in Warorot market… went there yesterday to get some plants, would never think anything was going on there. Except that it was raining and no wonder it looks so wet.

I hope it ends soon, right now Helene has smashed 25% of the U.S. with flooding and coastal areas with storm surge that smashed numerous structures and killed 40 people I believe. The amazing part of Helene is the size of it, a massive hurricane. I'm glad you did not get hit as hard as Chiang Rai, that was bad mate. Stay safe over there.
Change the oil on your bike 2-3 times in the next few weeks and you should have no problems... My bike was flooded up to the handlebars and a few oil changes did the trick! All the best from Pattaya....

My girlfiends father moved there 25 years ago and 7 weeks ago was admited to a hospital with breathing problems so and it turns out dementia. my girl few out to help organise and pay for treatment etc and after 6 weeks out in Chiang mai she need to come bac to UK as she didn't know anyone out there apart from his landlady and his ex partner also the flooding was clearly coming. She got back here and within a day the old man passed away. Now his body is in the morgue and we can't bury him or cremate him (I'm not sure if they do cremation in Thailand.) Morgues are usually in building basements so not sure if its flooded. Also all the area around his old place is under water so we can't actually get to the house.
Yes it's dryer in Wat Ket. But there is spots of the road and some intersections that are bad. There are lots of small lakes in the Thai neighborhoods.

I think it's a good thing that you're showing what's going on with the flooding. Obviously you don't want to video peoples suffering and look like you're trying to make money off of their misfortune. But to just show what the people are having to deal with is ok. some viewers might be able to provide assistance or it keeps the government on its toes to help the people
