- भारतीय स्टार्ट-अप कंपनियां दस मिनट में खाना और दूसरे सामान की डिलीवरी के लिए एक-दूसरे से कड़ी प्रतिस्पर्धा कर रहे हैं, और इनके बीच फंसे हैं काम के बोझ तले दबे वो लोग, जिन पर बेहद तेज़ रफ़्तार से काम करने और डिलीवर करने का दबाव होता है. बीबीसी के अंशुल वर्मा ने इन राइडर के साथ समय गुज़ारा और देखा कि किस तरह ये लोग हर पल घड़ी से मुकाबला करते हैं.

Hamari life road pe shuru hoti he or road pe khatam bhi ho jaegi lekin people never respect us no one care about us.our company needs just profit do you know wht amount they paid us 20 rs per delivery for 3 to 4 km i have activa if i compqre to traffic and peteol price its just 22 rs per delivery now think what i take minus 2 rs but copany gives small incentive amount like if i work nonstop without reject any order shift time complete it should 12 hours per day and whole week work so they give us 150 rs extra per day so if i calculate my earning should be only 10k per month and in this 10 k bike is my own so if some rblem happens in my bike so compny noyhing give me,petrol is mine, and also my works is mine so think very terrible and most hardwork job i cant do this job i will left this near future becuase peteol price high now but company never paid us high

Swiggy and Zomato should start mechanism like Amazon and Flipkart wrt delivery time, which is based on distance and traffic, rather than a one size fits all time limit.
Safety of gig workers should also be a priority.

10 minute delivery should be stopped, at least 30 min. Should be the starting time. Else we will be responsible for their ill treatment. Companies will never care. Customers should care.

Restaurants behave too badly with us, customers behave like as if we are their servants, company never increase our payout, oil prices have exactly doubled in 2 years and payout is exactly same

Always offer them Water when they arrive.
Never argued with them for being late.
Never gave bad rating.
Never ask them to come upstairs to deliver.
Mostly but not all, Customer to seedha bolte hain humne paisa pay kiya hai, aap upar aake khana do.
mera ye personal experience hai ki koi bhi late aane se inpar ghussa nahin karta. inse jaadaa tar behes upar ke floors par ane ya na ane se hoti hai. sab jagan same nahin hai par ye mera experience hai.

All we can do is simply whenever we order something from them just call the delivery person and say, "Drive safely on the road, aur aaram se aana bhaiya" as we say to our family members. 🙏🙏And yes if you find there service good, you can give tip to them directly not on bill.

Government should take action against these companies. I saw one delivery boy crying while delivery food at my doorstep. He told me that due to bad rating by customer his incentives for the full week has gone and he is the sole earner of his family. Companies show see then as employees rather than delivery machines.

Thank you soo much for showing this, I stay in metro and I understand how the traffic is huge here. These people are going beyond and above, they deserve huge respect, They deliver in Sunlight and Rain. Also the restaurants are rarely empty, the staff and the Delivery guys are always under huge pressure, I have witnessed these myself. I sometimes feel very sad about this 🥹 may god bless them. Please #zomato #swiggy make some reliable expectations for both side.
