Your lessons are by far the clearest ones among all others. I had been finding a station that I can learn good Hebrew (especially Biblical Hebrew), and here it is. Thanks and God bless. I am looking forward to have more lessons on the VERBS.
Your animations really stand out to me today. I especially like how you bring in one letter at a time as you spell out things as it really helps reinforce what you've been teaching already. The relation to sng in English is also very helpful/ eye opening in understanding Hebrew roots all being connected in general meaning. Great job and thank you for all your hard work!!
Hi Matthew, Thank you for creating such a helpful channel! I’ve particularly enjoyed your grammar lessons, especially the insights on word order, which has been the most challenging aspect of learning Ivrit. If possible, could you cover more on word order in future videos? Also, do you offer private lessons or have you written a book on Hebrew grammar? I would be very interested! Thanks again for your hard work!
Thanks for the comment! I'm glad to hear my videos help you! My next Hebrew Basics video actually will be covering a little word order, so look forward to that! :) I'll probably cover even more later on. At the moment I don't have any private lessons or books, right now I'm only working on this publicly available material, but thanks for asking! You're very welcome! :D
I like how you laid out the chart and explained the different ways a word is altered. I had a hard time tho with the ב as the Cof, it looks like the Bet to me. Ill watch it again since it was distracting me.
I'm glad you liked it! In this font the kaph isn't as curved at the bottom, so you do have to look closely to see if the letter has a bit sticking out like a bet. After spending enough time with the letters though, you'll be able to make the distinction quite easily. :)
Now I'm curious how they look side by side in this font - I was a bit thrown off as well, but overall, I really like the font he uses. Fonts can be hard to find and this is one of the best I've seen people use actually.
Present tense and active participle are the same, right? Also I would like to confirm this one אומרים This means that its present of the "Say" and in plural so this can mean "Sayings"? Right You might see me in your other videos, sorry just trying to understand and translate a hebrew word by understanding it.
That's correct, they are the same. The Hebrew noun אֹמֶר (omer, with segol instead of tsere) means saying, and its plural is אֲמָרִים (amarim). The masculine plural form of the present tense verb 'say' is אוֹמְרִים (omrim). And don't worry, I appreciate helping you with any questions! :)
Very very interesting 🎉

Thank you so much for your time and effort in teaching Hebrew. Your videos have helped me quite a bit. I, too, like your charts.
