I pray 🙏 this channel booms. We need a positive channel to take off. I laugh, I tear up, I get hopeful... I love the dog, ducks, and sheep... not a fan of goats but this channel makes me appreciate them. Let's hope 2024 is the year of super serious farmers!
Badgers right by the cows, bet that was on your Christmas Wish list. Hope whatever is in the pipeline works out for you, I've got everything crossed for you. Completely with you about arable/livestock farming. Old farmers used to know a thing or two. Government departments and experts not so much. Back to the old ways, I say. Hope you and Zoe had a good Christmas and sounds like New Year tucked up warm with a hot toddy or two for your household. Get well soon🤒💜🥳
Kriss could you maybe do a video or include in a video somewhere what kind of farm/land you are looking for, to buy or rent (as in cover both angles) and what your price range would be in both buy or rent? Whether youd consider a farm with a property on it to live in, or whether youd only want land.... And also where you would need it be, and whether youd be open to moving out of area and if so where your limit mileage would be. You have a lot of support you never know, by putting it out there there may be people that watch your videos that either have something thats within your parameters or knows someone who does. Maybe something that isnt on a market because the owners arent actively looking to sell or rent out their property, but if they were approached would absolutely consider an offer. Or even something that is on the market but youd have many eyes making light work of spotting something for you rather than it being all on you and Zoey being as busy as you are. Just a thought. Plus may be a video idea in showing the costs to be a farmer land wise that isnt inheriting a property. If you want to raise this amount of cows/sheep/goats/pigs/ducks/chickens etc, you would need this amount of land and this is roughly what youd be looking at to rent or buy land to do it. 🤷 Obviously you wouldnt need to disclose real personal info, just a rough guideline on a video that may help you achieve your dreams of being land stable and growth for 2024 for you? Maybe putting it out there might help manifest it somehow for you both!... Happy New Year to you both and all the animals. Hope 2024 brings you all the health, wealth and happiness you could ever need. And maybe, pick someone different to first foot for you next year than your last year. Someone whos typically very lucky😂. Enjoy your NYE celebrations. Look forward to the video of you hanging from it next year 😂.
yeah its a good idea... i think for the next year im going to let it play out because there are alot of changes happening in farming at the moment.. we will just ajust our buisness and ride the storm for now. happy new year
Wishing you and your family all the best in 2024. I’ve really appreciated your videos and your honesty. Thank you for all your hard work farming in such difficult times. ❤❤
Hope you all feel better soon. Praying 2024 will be a fantastic year for you and Zoe. You deserve a break and some amazing luck. Love the highs and lows of farming you show, as that's the life. Real life... take care all 😊
Sorry to hear that you will have to reduce the sheep numbers we had to reduce our sheep and cattle too as land rent in our part of Ni is shocking as much as £230 an acre
@@thegreat7861 yes and that's on a yearly basis so it's hard to plan ahead when you don't know from year to year what land you will have use of its a bad system
Aw no, sorry to hear about the hay land. There no negotiation? They wouldn’t take haylage (or even silage) off it instead that’d give you time to lamb and move? See here you’d be priority as you’ve stock to care for and tillage will come behind. Hope it sorts itself out for you and herself! Don’t tell Adrian or Phil but I think your my favourite 🤩 😂 (Also my drag name is Tina the Tramp!) 😂😂😂😂😂
Keep your chin up Chris- what’s for you won’t go by you ❤ you and Zoe deserve a bit of good luck- keeping fingers crossed oh and I’m sending you both a new year pint on the hilux go fund me - have a good one x
Just when you'd started to increase your breeding flock. I'm sorry you've had another knock back. I hope 2024 works out in the very best way for you both
Its sad You are loosing land for horeses . We city dwellers are ignorent and as if the problems with agriculture including Livedtock keep going the way they go We may end up eating horse . I am being serious. City , ureal peoplechave no clue how much we need the farmer . Thankyou all you do . Cheers heres to a new year .
It mad really! we also have a generation of land owners that have no interest in farming at all and still ride the subsidy system.. so young keen farmers cant get into the game
@@thesuperseriousfarmer thankyou for your reply .It's worse than I know , you should try and get a petition up . People need to know and be shaken up . And young farmers and want to be farmers Need to make a voice about it and have a voice . Good luck .
Chris… you crack me up man! Love watching you work! GOD will bless you abundantly this year! 🙏

I'm in Ireland, we'll have to build a few boats soon, like Noahs Ark 😂. I visit Morocco regularly, 3 hrs 30 mins from Dub ✈️. They pray for rain.
