I love how the UIU is finally being given the chance to shine. I also love how this is based off of "Why?", which is probably one of my favorite articles out there.

This shows the UIU are rather afraid of what's probably going to come next considering that 1 guys reaction to the Resonator shaking heavily while re-loading. How ever despite the terrors they push forward with the Bravery of mad men, because they'll know what happens if they fail, and they sure as hell aint going to fail without fighting like hell first.
Its a bit of a bad situation when the UIU is all you've got left to bat in your corner,but the chips are down and they're what stands in the dark to fight the light. Give em hell
Bought this game out of the blue knowing absolutely NOTHING about it with my friend. One of the top horror experiences of all time even in its alpha state! Really excited to see where this project goes! Hope you guys see more success so you can continue your work on this and add more content/sites/units (and of course SCPs).

The general quality of each update, the consistent patches and hotfixes - this game has so much promise already, and the jank is at an acceptable level. Looking forward to the vision, along the levels of Ready Or Not, this game will do well if it's treated right.
Been here since some of the first releases of scp pandemic and oh my has this game changed. The new atmosphere in the beginning of chapter one is incredible. I love the horror aspects. Keep up the amazing work affray!
The security AI needs a massive overhaul to actually feel remotely like fighting a human, but the gunplay is phenomenal, might be my favorite even when compared to Tarkov, RoN, INS, etc.
I like 5K and i was super impressed above all its the guns animations, its the best in this gaming market. However when i finish playing the campaign there was no much of what to do in the game, so i left and wait for update. Recently i'm playing lethal company and i was thinking if there is a possibility to make something like that on SCP: 5K, basically randomized maps layouts with multiple enemies with random spawns (something i wish also had in the campaigns at the moment). I really want to play the game more and walking around holding a weapon in this game feels so much good, but the game needs more replayability. AND WHOEVER IS THE GODDAMN ANIMATOR OF THIS GAME, KEEP HIM, GIVE HIM A RAISE OR SOMETHING TO MAKE SURE.

Man SCP 5K is such a cool SCP. Just the fact that apparently the foundation found an SCP so terrible that it would be more humane to exterminate every single human in existence rather than let the SCP exist. (My opinion of what the SCP is exactly and what others made out of it described below, might be considered spoilers) So, the "Thing" the SCP foundation found was apparently something in the subconcious mind of every human alive, it could only exist as long as somewhere a human is alive. This thing made it so no human ever actually died, but was in eternal torment, not able to pass but existing in some sort of purgatory, every human that ever died and ever will die will end up in this purgatory of torment as long as any other human is alive. This is why the SCP foundation decided it wanted to exterminate all humans alive. To end the torment of all that have died before and so the suffering of those may finally come to an end. In the SCP story however the suit and the other scps it brings together in the end make it so that SCP-5K "wins". Because those 2 SCP's make it so that whatever happened in the time of the suit will never happen again, therefor the SCP foundation will never turn bad and the thing in the human subconciousness will continue to exist forever (or as long as humans will be around)
That explanation isn't canon. There's no established connection between Why and What Happens After. Besides, What Happens After only happens if you believe it.

So SCP 2718 is canon in the SCP 5000 universe, also there is another article in the SCP 5000 universe called ‘ one foot forward’ which is the POV of a GOC soldier during the War against the Foundation in SCP 5000. Apparently, It is revealed that in this tale, IT covered up the events that Roger Sheldon experienced first hand as he recounted his tale of his consciousness after death as he was tortured as he rotted in his own body by planting the thought that SCP 2718 is an infohazard/cognitohazard rather than the true afterlife for humans in the minds of the O5 council. So that disproves that SCP 2718 is an infohazard. So there is a connection between Why and What Happens After. Anyway, SCP 3125 then, much like the mtf captain who was captured by the GOC in ganzir, begins to talk to IT itself, much to the confusion of the uncured foundation scientists. Eventually, scp 3125 frees the foundation scientists from IT, with its final words before disappearing from SCP 7555 being “It is better to have an end with horror, than a horror without end” entailing that it is better to have all of humanity killed so that IT and SCP 2718 would die than to die and suffer for eternity. Also, there is hidden text that says after Pietro Wilson reset the timeline with scp 055 and 579, the foundation, due to the suit, reimplements project pneuma and rediscoveres IT, beginning the omnicide all over again, this time, though, closing scp 055 and 579 from Pietro Wilson so that humanity is permanently killed this time . . . . . Except that during the tale ‘Oh . . Hatch and this hatching results that in whatever humans that have not yet been killed by the foundation to suffer the effects of an Omega K scenario, also known as ‘The end of death.’ So that no matter what the foundation does, those last humans will never actually die and this also means that IT consolidates its food source in all dead humans because if the last living humans can’t die, that means that the dead will never stop suffering and henceforth, IT survives, although, IT considers itself ‘defeated’. This implies that all end of death scenarios are caused by IT as a way to permanently consolidate its food source of pain. There is also a bunch of hidden text that is actually Roger Sheldon speaking to the reader, saying that apparently, He is dead again, suffering with the dead and that no one will ever see a true death ( I.e, that true death being oblivion instead of scp 2718.) According to the lore of the original SCP Containment Breach some SCPs are literally immortal and classic firearms do not cause any damage (for example: SCP 096, SCP 106 and many others). In my opinion you should also focus on this aspect therefore, making the player feel helpless in front of certain entities despite being armed. So, the only solution in such cases could be running and hiding, implementing hiding places of different types around the map.
In the next uptade i think you should add voicelines to human npcs or when you shoot them they should make a grunt and when they die they should scream

It's already in progress, but likely won't be in the next update. Also, the guards don't feel pain so they have no reason to scream when they die.
