A little off topic on this build, but am curious about what you think of the performance of your 10' Headwater and if there are any real downsides other than maybe the size.
The 10’ is awesome. Super light. Very maneuverable. Only things I hated was if you stand up to drive it so you can see big rocks you are hunched over like crazy. There’s no room to put your feet while doing so. If your standing up and you want to turn around I found there’s no room for your feet to spin around. I’m only a size 10 too. And if you don’t have full range from your trim to point down you Will porpoise all the time. Only way to correct it is to be in a constant semi turn

Jet stream won’t sell their files. And trust me. I templated a boat and built from scratch before. There’s not a lot of savings. Buying the kit is the way to go
He is probably right about just buying the kit, but..... If thats not practical you can do a search for. "Specmarine" or "Specialty Marine" . They are Portland Or area and do CNC plans for aluminum boats. Dont know if they have any mini boat plans but they might and if not may do a layout for you. boat least one place in Portland that can cut for you. Good luck. Im hoping to do a 22' boat and have will check them out when I get ready. They have more plans than what they show on their website.

The hull bottom is 1/4” 5086 aluminum the stringers and centre inlay is 1/5” 5052. Everything else is 1/8 5052 aluminum
