It's funny that CJ used England, Wales, and Scotland as an example of there being too many countries and how more need to join up and become one. Those three literally did that! Well, England did that to them, but still.
To be fair, it was the King of Scotland who inherited the throne of England.

Its interesting that no one seems to be able to get on top of the Mushroom 2D subarea entrance by wall jumping. That's the original way Smant got up there when he first found that spot, which is why he always tries it. But for some reason it hasn't worked since.

- Wales isn't a city, England is one part of the United Kingdom, which has constituent parts called countries
- The island that contains Wales, Scotland, and England is called (Great) Brittain
- north / south america are poorly defined terms so sometimes the Caribbean and central america get lumped in, sometimes all of Latin America (other than Mexico) and the Caribbean are considered south america
- american education (Canada included) doesn't do a v good job of teaching about other parts of the world but it's not your fault, good that you all looked stuff up and corrected mistakes. Sometimes you sound silly and that's ok

And it's called Great Britain because it's the largest of the British Isles, which is the entire archipelago including Ireland and all the little islands around Great Britain and Ireland.
I was always taught everything north of the Panama Canal is the North American continent, and everything South of the Rio Grande, but north of the Canal is the central/Latin America subcontinent. And that the Caribbean islands are neither North America or South America.

To explain the British fuckery: England, Scotland, and Wales are all regions (which were once countries) which make up the island of Great Britain. Great Britain (and some other smaller islands) and Northern Ireland together make up the modern country of the United Kingdom. The UK as well as Ireland make up 'The British Isles'.
Also there are 3 countries definitely in North America, then 13 islands between Florida and South America, plus 7 in Central America (on the mainland, between Mexico and Colombia) which these 20 nations are on their own small tectonic place. So geologically they are a part of neither continent, culturally they're a mix, and that's why it's up for debate and interpretation.
The British Isles is made up of the islands Ireland and Great Britain (and various other islands in the archipelago).
Great Brittain is the name of the island containing the areas of England, Scotland and Wales. Which together with Northern Island (and some territories like Isle of Men and Jersey and Guernsey) form the country of the United Kingdom. Just like the states together with Puerto Rico and sortlike territories form the country of the United States.

Geography person here, there is 23 countries in North American, which is the big 3, 6 in cnetral america, and the rest are in the carribean, which are a ton of tiny islands

the countries in north america depends on what you go by. If you are talking about north america as the continent, then central america is actually part of north america, so countries like cuba and el salvador are in north america.

The Uk/United Kingdom, is made up of Great Britain (the land mass that contains the countries England, Scotland, and Wales), and Northern Ireland. They are different countries in their own right but they follow the same monarchy, government, etc.
The suez canal is the one that crosses between Africa and the Arabian Peninsula. The panama canal is the na/sa canal.

That's not true, though. 😅
England, Scotland, and Wales are countries; Great Britain is the name of the island they're all on, just a geographical name; the United Kingdom is the name of those three countries, plus Northern Ireland, combined under the government of the English throne. Bonus: Canada is a commonwealth of the United Kingdom, so I'm surprised Smant wasn't taught this more distinctly in Canada. 😅
