Fun fact, a lot of old arcades machines will try to get your attention with noise and a sign that says "HELP" because they think they're out of the physical tickets. It just looks funny asf now because the tickets are digital usually and so they just
The 4.9GB needed and 4.9GB available showing up as an error actually makes sense if you keep in mind that there's probably some rounding involved that means the computer actually has just a tiny amount less memory available than is required. Or it could just be a case of terrible programming...
yeah, the terrible programming definitely could happen. when i tried to replay Assasins Creed on my new computer, the game said that my ryzen 7 doesn't meet the minimum requirement... just how much processing power do you need, UBISOFT?
14:05 As someone who uses Blender, this one is actually pretty easy to explain and replicate. So here's what's going on: The person used the *Array* modifier to duplicate the set of dominoes, but hasn't applied it yet. Because it isn't applied, the Blender physics engine doesn't treat the duplicated dominoes as physical objects and instead only simulates the physics of the floor, the first domino, and the first domino of the Array. It *_LOOKS_* weird as hell and can definitely be a bit trippy if you don't have any context or knowledge, but it's otherwise pretty common to see.
What I'm wondering is why they ran the sim without applying the modifier first. I mean, maybe they were going for this cursed/trippy result? Otherwise, I can't think of a reason they'd simulate without applying.
18:03 For anyone wondering why the wings were programmed to flex in the first place, it's because they do. IRL, plane wings flex in the wind, usually by a foot or so on the wingtips (if you're looking at a big honkin' bird like this one). As for what went wrong, I'm guessing the values influencing the degree of flexion for the wings was cranked up too high.
17:32 Just in case you weren't aware, that is what is known as a Killscreen. If you reach this point, it's pretty much a sign that you won Pac-Man. You have to see this screen to attempt to get the highest possible score, and all arcade games from this era contain one. It's usually due to a programming error or memory overflow.
16:45 Honestly, though? That $0.99 book is kinda adorable. I can see a couple people tossing a buck that kid's way for the gumption alone. Love the confidence, Joel.
15:41 this picture is so relatable because I work in a bowling alley with a massive arcade section and majority of these types of screens are only designed to show your score or your ticket count, so when it runs out of tickets or breaks down its supposed to display something like "call staff for help" but due to it having such a small screen it tends to just display "HELP" or "GET HELP" LOOOOOL

4:21 if you don't know, the Earth's map in 1:1 could fit in an normal Minecraft java/bedrock map. You would need 6 of the 1:1 earth maps to fill an Minecraft world. Also, you would need CubicChunks mod to make it so that mountains and hills higher than 312 meters don't get cut off, which dosen't exist in minecraft bedrock.
1:22 French annuler means roughly dismiss or turn into nothing, and is used for both revert changes and cancel here, so the buttons are "Revert" and "Cancel" :P Edit: I did check the source code for the French language pack, it is for the revert file feature and not the delete feature I though it might have been, the dialogue texts have since been changed to something less ambiguous.
@@pinkmonkeygamer Your comment prompted me to check the etymology and definitions, and it seems to check out fine. Care to expand? Are you referring to some specific idiomatic standard that would contradict normal etymological morphology?
28:12 You can do stuff like this pretty consistently in the game if you make the car roll back into the station. It ends up flying backwards at high speeds, which often makes it clip straight through the track and fly away.
This is actually done via the "David Braben" guest name cheat which lets you set absurdly high lift hill and/or launch speeds. But yes, the lift-hill-reverse-into-station exploit is much more broken with the speeds you can get and how full-circuit coasters can derail. Either the cart is going so fast that somewhere in-between a game-tic the train is off the track or Frontier intended to have a mechanic where coasters could derail from excess speed/g-force but dummied it out by setting an absurdly high failure point. I dunno for sure; I'm just guessing.
2:40 I remember this software gore! It happened to a UA-camr called GrayStillPlays and it was a modded Sims 4 challenge. Basically every 5-15 minutes (don’t exactly remember) a girl character named Ellis Dee would suddenly become pregnant and give birth to a kid. This happened when there was over 200 characters in a single household, way over the normal for a Sims household, and typically when it reaches past 200 the game starts to break so this kid during the beginning of the game breaking had turned into a teenager Sim, but kept his child Sim body.
32:49 I decode it, it just says everyone stay away from the beach, and for more info visit (insert link here) Edit: “people must stay out of the water (seas, rivers, and estuaries) stay off beaches and shore areas there’s a danger to swimmers, surfers people fishing and small boats, and anyone near the water or close to the shore for further info listen to the radio/tv or visit (indecipherable).” That is the best I can read it.
13:38 I interpret it as the machine’s one true love being taken away, the machine screaming their name as they are dragged away and the machine is left in the sinking feeling of loneliness he has, then the machine’s OS breaks, totally unrelated, just a sad coincidence.
14:24 I've never seen more true thing. Some weeks ago I went for a two-day (train) trip with my family, and on the first train, the screen looked something like the broken one, and second train it was just black. Finnish train screens truly are something. Also: Seems like about half of Finnish Redditors are on this subreddit
28:54 I can explain. Outlandish possible answers are shown to survey takers because they help disqualify surveyors who aren't answering honestly From taking hundreds of paid surveys and hundreds of micro surveys it's fairly common
Wait, Robin took Japanese classes in high school? Sweet! I'm currently learning Japanese right now! Glad we're on the same page of barely knowing crap. Also I can confirm that those were not right. It was only displaying the "a" symbol for LITERALLY EVERYTHING.

the one with dysonsphere is actually not softqaregore i think - at least as far as i experienced it so far, thats normal: its still in construction. the game builds the dysonsphere s slightly off-center and only moves them onto the star when the final buildphase of the frame is completed.
Back in my day when Dial up was considered fast. I was downloading a game and I went from like 0.04mb/s to 400 million GB/s for 1 second. Wish I took a picture of it. Only happened once in my life

Teamviewer probably has a library of different default phrases that come up on that subscribe message and each phrase is likely tied to a different value, we usually use that as a testing placeholder to make sure the randomiser is working correctly. Sometimes stuff that's poorly proofread just show the output of whatever randomiser they're using to select a phrase instead of the phrase itself.
0:24, this actually is not a bug, the just once or always is the second part of the process, the two facebook logos could mean one is for the wall, and one is for a group they are in, seems like their phone just displays the logo without more context

The 4.9GB needed and 4.9GB available showing up as an error actually makes sense if you keep in mind that there's probably some rounding involved that means the computer actually has just a tiny amount less memory available than is required.
Or it could just be a case of terrible programming...

As someone who uses Blender, this one is actually pretty easy to explain and replicate.

28:12 You can do stuff like this pretty consistently in the game if you make the car roll back into the station. It ends up flying backwards at high speeds, which often makes it clip straight through the track and fly away.
na that is more graystillplays stuff there
Bro ain't no way that's your fucking username?! That's dope as fuck!

It was screaming

10:04 as a polish person, i laughed so hard at how he tried to pronounce wsparcie 💀
23:57 considering profile picture this translation is strangely accurate
(for those wondering it's Terminal Montage Kirbo, which is supposed to be extremely catholic)
the one with dysonsphere is actually not softqaregore i think - at least as far as i experienced it so far, thats normal: its still in construction. the game builds the dysonsphere s slightly off-center and only moves them onto the star when the final buildphase of the frame is completed.
5:25 The concerning bit is that the picture looks to be taken at 3 IN THE FUCKING MORNING.
6:04 I never knew I needed this reference
10:02 i find it hilarious when english speakers try to pronounce polish words😂
Back in my day when Dial up was considered fast. I was downloading a game and I went from like 0.04mb/s to 400 million GB/s for 1 second. Wish I took a picture of it. Only happened once in my life
3:54 "when duolingo finds out you didn't learn French for 1 whole year

Bro speaks the language of 9@€ks57
16:10 earlier on my vacation I was watching your vids and all of a sudden I got a blue screen that looked exactly like this, but worse.
The way I had this playing in the background while cleaning no really paying attention and then practically teleported over to my iPad on hearing Technoblade is just…………concerning

4:09 Bro probably uses that world for some TNT tests.
8:11 THE VOICE CHANGE CAUGHT ME SO OFF GUARD I'M LAUGHING SO HARD RN
The same time as a great day to be a great day to be a great day to be a great day to be a great day to be a great day to be a great
I feel like Robin and Jim Carrey would be the best of friends.
2:04 the r/softwaregore is that cuts off here so it’s “Man that r-“😂
2:04 DON'T MAKE ME CRY OVER A ROVER AGAIN EMKAY
4:45 OH SHOOT GIMKIT! It’s basically just better kahoot.
Trojan trashing itself as a virus is still one of the funniest things I’ve seen from this subreddit
Hello

5:28 freddie buddy...what did they do to you?
24:20 are we sure that’s not Josh (Let’s Game It Out)’s doing?
It sure does look like something he whould do
25:29 bro is using his final smash
2:04 Mars is Swedish for March. So presumably in Sweden on the 10th of March it was -273 degrees... or someone put the temperature gauge in liquid nitrogen or something lol
And French for March.
It was probably from Norway because of the use of ø... and also .no
@@pihlajafox oh good eye! Even better (my mom’s side of the family all came from Norway… I never learned the language except for a couple words and phrases)
Similar in German, Marz, even the names of the days are similar to German
I've recently completed my German course so it was kinda interesting to know the correlated sounding words in European languages
Menera
1:50 probably a blockbuster ngl
A good chunk of software gore is peoples graphics cards having a stroke, or they yanked their memory cards while it was currently functioning.
11:32 but imagine in the future we had a bullet train that goes so fast across the sea you can get from one continent to another that fast
Wouldn’t the speed be uncomfortable?
9:05
Lmao, you did good. This is actually the correct way to pronounce that. (maybe a bit less aggressive lmao)
20:48 Bro's got a neutron star in his CPU.
17:32 I believe this is what happens at the ‘end’ of pacman, where there are no more levels and the game just kinda breaks the more you play 😂
Yeah, it is
just came back to my room, skipped an add to met the possessed Memoji [52:25] on my laptop while the TV in my room automatically shut off. its 1:35AM
Watch the adds all the way through or you might upset the possessed Memoji
1:06:45 Omg, the cyan crewmate in the back was me, what a coincidence 😎
13:09 that character you see is from the manga yotsuba, idk why someone would just and put a alarm clock on its head. Especially since it’s a like 4 to 6 year old child
Child has been obliterated.

6:05 YOO IS THIS A SOUTH PARK REFRENCE
LATE, BUT WHAT REFERENCE?
@@baguetteYT20 uhhhh if i remember i think there was one episode where they said how long they'll all have to play a game
5:37 nah bro he ain't lost, he's just visiting null island 🤓
0:24, this actually is not a bug, the just once or always is the second part of the process, the two facebook logos could mean one is for the wall, and one is for a group they are in, seems like their phone just displays the logo without more context
Are u a vista fan?
2:43 I think i saw this image from a graystillplays video. I think it belongs in this subreddit.
