Tbh it's not surprising to see this, the anime is probably created to further promote and develop the Men Rhythmic Gymantics (group division) in Japan. And seeing this high level of performance isn't a joke specially the last tumbling pass that section requires utmost trust and proper execution of skills at the right timing.
The internet can be the most useless thing the world. And then it randomly takes you to a place you would have never been to, to see an event you would have never attended and it allows you to discover such wonderfully talented sportsmen that you would have otherwise never come across in a lifetime. Utter beauty.

They are sportsmen still but ones who have transcended sport into art. I wish this was more a global thing than just a Japanese one so it can be included as an Olympic event.

I was shocked seeing this performance after finishing Backflip(the anime) weeks ago. I was so familiar with the music and the steps I felt as if I'm watching a live action. This performance really is better in real life. Anyways, I feel very proud watching them perform! They're so talented and flexible. I don't know how gymnastic is like but in my eyes they're doing awesome. This and the anime gave me some motivation to do productive stuffs and start moving around cause for the whole month since January I've only been on my phone, on the bed and sleeping so thank you. Such a wonderful and beautiful performance.

Every ballerina in a corps de ballet needs to take notes. You always see that one trying to stick out and become prima. These guys show the beauty of being perfectly in sync.
Actually, they do train to breathe in unison according to their movements. Before they start their practice, 6 members on the team try to synchronize their breathing first, then start moving. It's INCREDIBLE in person.... the atmosphere is totally electric and you can feel the tension. Nothing like the sound of bodies hitting the spring floor at full speed!

I didn't realize that rhythmic gymnastics included a Freehand option (i.e. without an apparatus of ball, hoop, rope, etc.). What a joy to watch! Additionally, I firmly believe that, as far as gender equality has come to include women, I think the same should be offered to men and how they wish to showcase their 'masculinity.' Sadly, the sports in which men compete limit themselves to what would be deemed a socially acceptable display of masculine energy. The notions of grace, elegance, and poise that are associated with female energy should not be limited to women. Men should be able to display these qualities in a sport, too! Figure Skating might be the only opportunity we see this in an Olympic setting. Olympic Committee, I hope you remain more inclusive and offer Men's Rhythmic Gymnastics as a competitive sport! It's wonderful to watch. The same could be said about Synchronized Swimming even! Let men and women both have the option to be as tough, as gruff, as feminine, as masculine, as they wish!
Mixed duets in synchronized swimming might be a part of the Olympics by 2024. But I would love to see both male and female groups as well as mixed ones, like, can you imagine! And male rhythmic gymnastics should definitely be a part of the Olympics too. Ideally, there shouldn't be male-only\female-only sports at all.
First i can tell u that in woman rithmic gymnastic exists the option of no apparatus for juniors... basically thats how u start and its your first taste of competition. Second... although I agree with your opinion and I would like to see man doing rithmic gymnastic this is not. Its a combination between artistic and aerobic gymnastic. Rithmic Gymnastic is more close to ballet than artistic gymnastic. That doesn't change the fact that they're entertaining.

I have no idea how this got on my recommended list but boy am I glad it did. It was riveting! The music perfectly complemented their moves and I was just thinking how difficult it must have been to perfect their gymnastic moves because if any one jumped too high or too low, not only would it ruin the aesthetics but also the timing. Knowing just how much time and hard work went into the routine just made me appreciate more how effortless they made it all look.

That was a perfect combination of athleticism and choreography. Not only were the gymnasts insanely talented and precise, the moves were fresh and recalled both ballet and street dancing in places. Absolutely breathtaking.

I didn't even know this sport existed. It is incredibly jaw dropping. The movements are so synchronized that I wouldn't be surprised if they even practiced breathing together.
