      Festival Walk is a great starting point, and catching the sunset from West Kowloon sounds like a stunning way to end the day! I'm definitely going to wait for a nice sunny day to try this. Have you explored any other scenic spots around Hong Kong that you'd recommend? I'm always on the lookout for new places to discover!

    I am visiting HongKong in the summer and need some advise. Does the island of cheung chau accepts credit card payment or Alipay? Thx

    • @GatewaytoEndlessAdventure
      @GatewaytoEndlessAdventure  6 місяців тому

      Cheung Chau, like many parts of Hong Kong, generally accepts credit card payments, especially in larger establishments such as hotels, restaurants, and shops. However, it's always a good idea to carry some cash as well, as smaller businesses may prefer or only accept cash payments.
      Regarding Alipay, while it's not as commonly accepted in Hong Kong as it is in mainland China, you might find some places that do accept it, especially in tourist areas like Cheung Chau. However, it's still not as widespread as credit card acceptance. It's advisable to check with specific businesses beforehand if you're reliant on Alipay for payments.
      Overall, only a small percentage of small vendors accept cash only. Additionally, ATM machines are located almost everywhere, including corner stores and restaurants.

      Wow, that's fascinating! The legend of Cheung Po Tsai and buried treasure adds such an intriguing layer to Chung Chau's history. Exploring the island feels like stepping into a real-life treasure hunt. Thanks for sharing this interesting tidbit! If you have any more insights or recommendations, I'd love to hear them. Thanks again!
