Tepoztlan: Mexico's Most MAGICAL Town

- After Taxco, I decided to visit another Magic Town in Mexico called Tepotzlan.
This magic town was much quieter, more peaceful and had a totally different vibe. I loved all the amazing hikes, the beautiful view from my hotel room and the unique Pyramid at the top of the mountain.
This magic town or Pueblo Magico is JUST south of Mexico City and while you could do a day trip from Mexico city it's better to spend a few days relaxing here.
Guys, I LOVED Tepoztlan. SUBSCRIBE for more MEXICO VIDEOS! ua-cam.com/users/janetnewenham

Yes, I do.
I stayed in that same hotel/hostal a year ago. The view was amazing!!!!!
Unlike other Mexican travel videos you showed us streets in your video. This gave me a better appreciation of the town. Thank you.
Hola guerita.
When I lived in Chapala Mexico, I was greeted that way many times. I think I was there about a year before I heard the greeting well enough to ask what it meant.
Thank you for the video. That is a very lovely town.
They are fire works boom! Boom! I get caught by surprise everytime in Mexico especially in December.
But it was ON TOP of the mountain?? Like mini explosions!
@@JanetNewenham One thing about Mexico is their love for fire works, and yes they go up the mountains or the echo of the fireworks. In some towns in Mexico in December people start popping fire works at 5:00 am!! December and January is the time for fire works so dont get caught by surprise.
I visited last year and fell in love with Tepoztlan! Beautiful energy there.
FIREWORKS 💥 ARE FOR THE CELEBRATION OF OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE ,DARLING ‼️
haha I thought it was some crazy explosion on the mountain!!
Mil gracias por visitarnos amiga... y por promover a nuestras ciudades y pueblos magicos... welcome always... blonde .. .

Thank for bringing us to the different sides of the world. I am from Indonesia and love traveling too, but it is impossible to do that during Covid since borders are closed. But I can keep traveling by watching your channel. Now I feel like I am traveling to Mexico - by watching your video :)
Hi! those poom sounds are catholic church rockets, religiously motivated "fireworks" used for catholic celebrations.
Joder,buen nombre xd

Oh ok its totally safe. Lol between 0:15 and 0:45 I thought we all realised how totally insane the person holding the camera actually is. Lol I thought Mexican gangs were blowing each other away and she was just standing there with the camera laughing "oh wow loud noises. Mexico is so beautiful though!" Haha good show mate

Wow you're in Tepoztlán I live almost 30 minutes away in a pueblo called Tlaltizapan de Zapata Morelos. It's also a very interesting Pueblo that's the place where Emiliano Zapata started part of the revolutionary war for Mexico. Greetings.
Thanks for sharing!
Awesome you’re taking advantage of visitingTepoztlan !!
You got yourself a new follower!!🙏🏻
Janet- bummer you missed the Comida Pre-Hispánica. Because of the pandemic , the restaurant has a robust stall just on the outer edge of the market near the candy stall you showed. It’s called Cuatecomate and the food is just like how the Aztecs and pre-Hispanic people ate, including lots of seeds and nuts and fruits. Including chapulines (grasshoppers) . I tried 4 dishes and the sauces and blueberry drink . I think his name is Don Hancel. I recommend for an interesting experience.
México is so beautiful and magical 😘🥰😍👍🏻

Holiday season, fireworks 🎆 are very common throughout the country this time of the year.
ahhh okay that makes sense!!

The flowers are called “CUETLAXOCHILT” it comes from Mexico 🇲🇽 It’s another item stolen for Mexican culture and renamed in the United States as a poinsettia!
no many people knows that, and Aztecs used it as a decoration
That's right, like many other things.
I thought they were called Noche Buena?
@@Vancouver_Dan noche buena is the Spanish translation the other name is the original Native translation
The poinsettia plant was introduced to the United States by the first ambassador to Mexico. I think his last name was similar to the plant it was renamed here.
You should check out the site of Xochicalco in the state of Morelos! It is open and it's really nice.
Hi, can you pass along the name of the hotel where you stayed in Tepoztlan please?
I would just to share with you...My husband is from Tepoztlan...I was born in California...My son and him are currently out there visiting my father in law...about 3 years ago I decided I will be moving there when I retire...Ever since I visited Tepoztlan for the first time...I knew I had met my husband only to find this beautiful town😁😁😁
Disfruta Mexico Amiga
Really nice video! Thank you
Nice video. I'm surprised that no one mentioned that the pyramid is closed. It has been since the pandemic began in April because the path doesn't offer enough space for proper distancing. Your drone video is very good. The mural you saw in front of the main church is made of beans, seeds, and grains. It is changed annually during a ceremony in September. (By the way, the sign in Spanish that is displayed means "Do not touch"). The main church, itself, has been closed since the earthquake in 2017. You hear fireworks here all the time, whether it's for a local celebration or a wedding or event. Finally, you were brave to eat in the market. I haven't stepped foot there since the pandemic began. Peace!
I would like to be as brave as you when it comes to traveling.
It's really not very difficult. Everyone is very helpful and friendly
🥰🤗🌹
Dice INGLES GENERADO AUTOMATICAMENTE
