- On this trip I was shopping for odd, unique, and rare records at a Thrift Store I've never been too . There were a ton of records to search through. I found some unique records that I hadn't come across before. You never know what you'll find while hunting for records in flea markets, thrift stores, and antique malls. Digging through old records is fun! Come join me!
I love listening to your southern drawl. It's like music in itself. I've got some cds of Tomita. His Planets by Holst is amazing.
Your tastes in music are very similar to mine...and I SUBSCRIBED! Great vinyl finds!😎👍
Thanks for watching and subscribing!
Tony Mottola is excellent !!I would pick that George Carlin any day.. That Lou Rawls is Cool !! We Saw him in Vegas in the early 1970's at the same hotel ( International ).. where Elvis appeared nightly.
Thanks, I'm really liking that Lou Rawls LP! It would have been cool to see him live.
@@groovingonvintagevinyl7840 Yeah.. he was great ! His big hit was " Natural Man" so it must have been 1971 or so..
I think you found most of the world's supply of Leo Suiter vinyl. I was thinking he would be someone local to you. There's a couple of local to me (western Kentucky) artists I come across now and again that would be unknown if you aren't from here.
That was a tough dig, so many meh rekkids to wade through, as it looks like that place never culls out the hopeless stuff.
Yeah I agree. I usually see a lot of this stuff but this place appeared to have an over abundance of classic pop jazz and southern gospel.
Noooooooooo Tom Grant that’s a nice vinyl
These thrift store digs are interesting if only for the fact that no matter what corner of the US you’re at, the junk gets around, although I know that there are a few that would be looking closely at the Christian and white gospel albums for horrible clothing and hairstyles. Also, I would be hitting the CDs FIRST if I was looking for classic Rock or more modern music. THEN the vinyl. Don’t discount the cassettes either!
True, there are certain albums I see in almost every stores it seems. Thanks for watching!
