@@utterlychloe I love Sublime’s hair. Also, good on the mother for being upset for her daughter. They need to stop having the girl suddenly be good friends/besties with Marinette and forget and forgive what she did.

Honestly, those people saying that Marinette’s character development disappeared are kind of right. Maybe not to you but definitely to me cause like what do you mean that u became depressed, mature, and maybe a little bit unwerid in s5, then in s6 your BACK TO BEING WERIDER THAN U ALREADY WERE.. 😭 sigh we will never get mature not werid Marinette

she became more mature because there was something serious going on. she's been the same for four seasons and since everything is "calmer" now, she went back to the same roots. I'm sorry but she's always been weird
The fact that she STILL can't talk to Adrien despite the fact that they've been together for an entire season now says to me that she doesn't love him, she doesn't even seem to LIKE him. What she likes, is the idea of him. She never, ever mentions anything about him other than his looks and we already know that his personality (as Cat Noir) irritates her. I think of as almost as if she got with him so that Chloe couldn't have him, sort of thing.
While I 100% agree with all you said, I never know if it's really true to say that Cat Noir is Adrien's true personality. I know a lot of people think that, and it somewhat makes sense, but a couple of episodes hinted at Kwamis influencing their bearer's personality when transforming. Like, when Adrien and Marinette exchanged their Miraculous for the first time, Adrien kept saying he was too focused to make jokes, and Marinette, on the other hand, became really mischievious and daredevil after fusioning with Plagg. She even started doing cat jokes despite disliki g them. I think the scenarists don't consider Ladybug and Cat Noir as Marinette and Adrien's true selves.
I mean....she HAS mentioned his personality before and I think her having a crush is valid. He's cute, compliments her alot amd ghastly distracted and called chloe out. He also tends to be more patient than mari and tends to make her think a bit deeper on other people's circumstances because she judged him on their furst meeting and he chose to be vulnerable and confront her. Considering mari struggles with emotional vulnerability...it makes sense she'd admire adrien who seems more willing to be open on his first day. So her having a crush IS perfectly understandable. The issue is that becayse she feared making a assvout of herself and embarrassing herself infront of someone sge already made a bad first impression on....she started watching from afar and collect info from outside sources becahse she DOES want to know him better...bit she doesnt want to be vulnerable herself. Which just built up.more of a idea of adrien in her head even though he HAS opened up to her more. Nkt to mention plenty of teens tend to get rose colored glasses with crushes and while adrien does have flaws and isn't hiding them like sge tries to do...his mostly show up while he is chat noir. I don't think it means her feelings are real....bjt I will agree it's not as deep as they try to act like it is. Becayse she has been treating adrien as a romantic love interested FIRST rather than a friend and she acted a bkt like soneone withva celebrity crush....it's NOT a celebrity crush though. I've met plenty of people who are weirdly intense about crushes. The majour thing though is sdrien and nari take the opposite angel of how to handle crushes. Chat is flirty and forward so if he does go to far we k ow for sure where he messed up and HE k kws where he messed ip..and kt will change his behaviour and intent from him.....while nari can't be called out becsuse he didn't knkw her feelings so she never realizes huw she was treating him could hurt him...and becahse he fell fkr her on his own...she ne er actually gad to grow and overcome her most consistent flaws when handling adrien. Sge might SAY things that sound like sge jearbed sometimes....but nothing actually ever Tues properly to the lesson actually sinking in. Ever herring to back out when luka abd kagami tried to plush them together sounded like avoidance e rather than ACTUALLY thinking she didn't know adrien as well as she thinks. I think the biggest issue is still chat....becayse we see why adrien fell for Kady ug abd nsri separately and how becayse she was so honest and sometimes means as LB....we can feel confudent he likes her no matter what sbd we see him worry about mari's feelings. But even when mari 'loved' chat...she never ACTUALLY thought about how shs treated chst or wondered about hjs life outside the mask. And it did feel lije she used ut to avoid adrien again.... ....bjt we also know chat noir has a way of making g mari feel actually confident in herself in ways and distract her from her worries....sp I think she does feel something fir chat...but it still doesnt feel like sgw's matured enough to ACTUALLY put effort into seeing deeper on him yet without him opening up first. Whi h I think Tues I to how nari tends to be a good fixer but not the best listener. Even when she found out adrien was chat before she wasn't exactly positive about it at first until kuka sent her down that direction...becahse mari is stubborn and gas mire tunnel vision. The main issue is it never REALLY felt like mari learned to ACTUALLY treat adrien as a friend properly.
Marinette always had difficulties when facing issues in her relationships, even with alya, that obviously didn't change all of a sudden when she got a boyfriend, that's one of the flaws that make her who she is, and it hasn't been an entire season yet since they got together. Marinette already showed she cared a lot about Adrien in previous seasons, supporting him facing his father, and many other things... His outward attractiveness is certainly part of it but that's not all, she already proved that she loves nearly everything about him, and we know that what made her fall was his kindness back in the origin episode, not his looks. I think we'll have the opportunity to see her show her appreciation for him throughout this season, we've just seen so much of it already at this point that it does not have to be a concern right now. Cat noir's personality also doesn't irritate her, what angered her was how he couldn't take a hint, when she rejected him.
maybe its because she's hiding the fact that his father was fucking hawkmoth, something she didnt have to do in season 5???? mlb fans have zero media comprehension its crazy
the writers don't seem to be able to write marrinette as a normal person. either she's so quirky and annoying and her body can move 200 mph and she bumps into things every five seconds (seasons 1-3, then now) or she's so depressed cuz her job is so hard that she just cries to alya, and herself, and tikki (4 and beginning of 5).
I'd understand if she was scared of trusting people and falling in love as easily because of Chloe and Kim, but her stalking shouldn't be an excuse for that. She's a freaking yandere who doesn't get called out for her behavior. I honestly didn't want to watch this season but then curiosity got the better of me. She's still the same person, except now she lies to her boyfriend about his father being a hero and helping her get rid of Hawkmoth when in reality he was the villain (all because Gabriel wanted her to lie and tell him that he tried to be a good father). Marinette needs to freaking chill out cause this is just getting sad.
It sucks how Marinette stans constantly excuse her behaviour, including the writers. If you like a character you should accept their flaws as well. Yet Marinette makes questionable decisions and somehow gets rewarded for it. If Chloe is "irredeemable" then Marinette is worse by that point. All that Chloe did was being a bit of a brat and ThomASS decided to exagarrate her actions to justify his hatred for a character he created. This show had so much potential that got to waste.
The idea Marinette's behaviour is justified by her having trauma is so weak. It's common knowledge to any consumer of pop culture that thinking like that makes you the villain. The Joker, Two Face, Wanda Maximov, Baron Zemo, Lotso Huggnbear, The Candyman, JK Rowling etc.
I still like Marinette/Ladybug(ladybug a lot more) but i cannot understand why she cant speak to Adrian in s6 when in s5 she was talking to him just fine(atleast from what i remember)and even stood up to his father💀
FR, like I understand why people are mad at Marinette this episode but don't bring up that she wasn't THIS down bad in season 5 when she was dating Adrien. That was supposed to be the point of her growth and it's like this season just reset everything.
It’s like Ben 10. They reverted the character back to how they were in the beginning of the show to make the characters seem more familiar/“funny” to children. It didn’t work for Ben 10 and it didn’t work here.
I really liked how the Lucky Charm showed how Ladybug/Marinette was the villain. It’s like Tikki was telling Marinette “Girl, what the hell was that. Fix it.” I also thought it was similar to the recurring man vs monster thing in EPIC: The Musical, especially in the songs Just A Man and Monster.
Marinette and Adrian are together now SO WHY IS MARI STILL LIKE THIS UGHHHHH. As for Sublime, i feel bad for her having to put up with Mari's behavior and honestly she's very sweet.
the cringiness and stalking aside, i think this was a good episode for marinette because it didn’t allow her to have a pass and forced her to acknowledge he poor decision. i think she will grow from here. also i think this is foreshadowing for her becoming an actual villain later on.
The thing is, she already has ''grown'' after multiple other mistakes, but the writers just keep deleting that growth and making her go from the start. And i'm convinced the same will happen this season. Just look at how mature she was in s5 and they just threw it out of the window for s6 because without her s1-like behavior, there would be no episodes in s6 as both heavily rely on that. The villains are just ''the other thing''.
I would like/respect Marinette’s character a lot more if they had her smirking in the end of EVERY time she’s stalking or trying to sabotage things between Adrien and other girls. As in she knows that it’s wrong and she knows exactly what she’s doing, but doesn’t care. Adrien is hers and hers alone. No one is going to get in the way of that. But “Oh, it’s Marinette! She’s just silly. She’s actually really nice when you get to know her.” And people and her boyfriend bring all these excuses/explanations up and Marinette can be seen standing behind them and smirking because she got away with it and Adrien is “safe” in the end. I hate this thing that they keep doing where she does this, gets called out or realizes what she’s doing is bad, feels bad, gets a talking to from Tikki, and then she actually talks to the other girl and that girl suddenly forgets that someone she doesn’t know has been spying on her and trying to get in the way of her conversations with Adrien, and now they’re best friends. It happened with Kagami and now with this Sublime. Either she should realize her mistakes, stop this/try to be better, (maybe get some therapy too because this ain’t healthy) and trust her boyfriend and respect his boundaries for once. Or just make her a secretly bad character who is extremely possessive over Adrien and who he’s with. It would put an interesting spin on her both in and out of costume. Especially as Ladybug. They can’t keep doing both because it just makes her disingenuous and frustrating at the end. It’s exasperating that she gets this overpowered “forgiveness” and everything resets like a damn video game and Marinette is still spying/stalking and sabotaging, but the girls she did this to are now her friends (except Chloe) and Adrien is none the wiser. The closest we’ve ever gotten of the apology not being accepted was with Lila, but she is not a good person. I would like to see it happen with someone who is good/decent and doesn’t forgive Marinette. Or she eventually might, but never forgets and keeps her distance/is a bit colder toward Marinette.
Marinette. If you ever try forcing yourself to be friends with someone who is friends with Adrien ever again. I will get you a restraining order. Because you need to realize not everyone will be your friend! Terrornette!
I know this seems weird, but what if Chloe comes back as a new hero? Remember how she moves to England or whatever, and we never see her again? My theory is that wherever she went, she might get a miraculous from that from the Native American Miracle box (found in special episodes). If she comes back, I have a feeling she'll have a redemption role where she actually saves ladybug and puts Marinette in her goofy place.
@Cut3Cats4life look up miraculous/to (with a dot instead of a slash, yt will delete my comment otherwise). It has all of the seasons and newest episodes.
Honestly ur so right marrinette has serious stalking issues and I hate how the show makes it like there’s nothing wrong her they made her personality so much more weirder in this season for no reason and honestly someone gotta tell this girl TO CHILL OUT
5:09 Marrinette was like a normal person for like the second half of season 5, after she and Adrien basically just had not believing lila to bond over, and then it kinda fell apart after that
God, I'm so tired of Marinette. Especially in this episode. What she's done was really bad. Yes, she is a human AND a teenager tho, she is allowed to make mistakes and learn from them. But the problem is that she's been making these mistakes since season 1. Now we're in season 6. And they call Chloe the unredeemable character. Chloe's been through much bigger development than Marinette has. Is it because Marinette's already perfect? Thank you, Sublimation, but I'd like to disagree. And that fact that after all this she's given a very awesome reward at the end. Being friends with Sublime. Like, hell no? Sublimane, you seem like a nice girl. Punch that stalker with a broom, please.
I'm gonna be honest, I think the reason that Sublime didn't bring up the rest of Marinette's behaviour is due to not understanding She isn't aware of the rest of the stuff that Marinette has done, she's just being supportive and compassionate
i actually cannot stand marrienets quirky and awkward personality. Its tiring there's no character development at all in... what.. the past 6 seasons. Brother....
I just want to say, this would technically offend many people but it's the way Marinette was so disgusting in this episode. Adrien excusing that creepy behaviour by saying "Oh! That's just how she is. When she likes you, she'll stalk you. Don't be creeped out, Sublime", my heart goes out to that poor girl. Not only does she seems like an awesome person, she is already going through so much struggle with her mom and to find an investor, and in between all this, Marinette goes "I'm an akumatised soap person" like huh? Not to mention she was the reason Sublime's prosthetic legs broke, that she and her dad worked months on. Sublime was still a kind girly, who was like, "gurl ik you like me, so you are stalking me" but like, does her forgiveness really make it okay, though? Marinette has gone through no growth in 6 seasons, it's crazy and when sublimation hits her, the writers claim that "she's already the best version of herself" like huh? Excuse me? Plus they adress the fact that she's a villian but like, she never faces actual consequences for it and instead, gets rewarded by earning a friend. This episode has offended my soul. So, it is okay to now defend sociopaths by saying "well, that's just how they are." Great message to the children, right?
If Marinette finds it difficult to become friends with Sublime because she doesn't need help with anything, how she became friends with Alya? I don't remember her seeking help. Or with Rose, Juleka, Alix and Mylene? They didn't need help either. Why's becoming friends with Sublime difficult? I'm not even talking about Sublime being famous since Marinette became friends with someone like Kagami or even a rockstar.
I thought it was because Marinette saw Sublime as someone so perfect she could never be on the same level as her, which made her think that she needed to give her a perfect first impression otherwise Sublime would think that Mari is weird and she won't want to be friends with her. But it's miraculous so that doesn't matter
I've rewatched the whole season 5 and I think it's safe to say Marienette had character development through that. She said that Adrien and her spent a lot of time together (pretty sure outside school as well) so it's weird that the one time in s6 they go out to the cinema she's really nervous. She also recognized that her stalkerish behaviour is weird and apparently stopped following Adrien's schedule (therefore didn't know about that one dance). The issue went from not being able to talk around him to not being able to kiss him, which got resolved when Adrien left for London. It's absolutely weird how now she can barely talk to him again, they wasted such potential where they could've introduced a new problem within their relationship instead of just regressing and Marinette being her s1 herself again and having that as the problem
@sanogoyuga Might be unpopular opinion, but I actually quite enjoyed s5 and think it's a good season (at least definitely a step up from previous ones). Though I'm disappointed with what s6 provided so far
The fact that three different people agrued with me, trying defend her. Talking about "She apologized!!" so??? That doesn't excuse anything.😭 Something is wrong with Marinette defenders.
istg marinette is actually making me so pissed. she's with the love of her life, she stalked tf out of him, knew his entire life by heart, now that shes with him, she can't even TALK to him?? its like she doesnt even love him atp. I atleast thought this season she was gonna get atleast a little bit "mature" but no. she's the exact same she's even worse than before.
THIS Was a horrible episode like what the hell was Marinette on like this is so weird…. She literally gave a half a ass apology, even though it was her fault that she almost destroyed sublime’s career. And like the whole time, the trope was to say like everyone makes mistakes or something like that. LIKE WHAT
i agree with what you said about marinette, like i like marinette but the stalking is not it. i love sublime tho, she’s so cool!! love your videos!! 💞💞
I'm sorry but it's so gross that subby freaking ate with the sticks in her hair and used them as chopsticks I felt all of Asia crying at the scene Other than that shes cool
I’m just mad because in season five Adrien realized marrinette acts weird when she’s anxious so they should have carried that into season 6. THEY BETTER SHOW CHLOE IN THE INTRO NOW 😡😡😡😡😡😡
Did we all collectively forget all of emotion, protection, action and probably a lot of other s5 episodes where marinette was a normal girlfriend to adrien 😭😭😭😭 Didnt she give a whole ass speech in emotion about how she isnt making weird ass plans anymore???????? 😭😭😭😭
I feel like marinette’s character only changed when she was in S5 I think she was much stronger especially since she was actually with Adrien. ESPECIALLY WHEN SHE WAS VS HAWKMOTH SHE FULLY LOCKED INNNN FOR THAT FIGHT. S6 is just a new beginning so I was kinda expecting marinette to be weird but also stronger too. Idk it’s annoying to see that she isn’t as strong as she was in S5 hopefully she can Develop over time as a stronger better ladybug/marinette.
4:33 yeah, I’m so sad they didn’t change her like not her whole personality like just a little bit but they didn’t. They just went back like to season one. I don’t know I’m so sad about it. But anyway, I stopped why I don’t have high expectations for shows they always disappoint me 🥲
I just don’t understand how she can’t speak to Adrian anymore. Last season when they were alone they did so well. And now she LITERALLY DITCHES HIM out of fear. How tf is he still dating her if she stands him up every single date 😭
I think Marinette’s main issue is her horrible insecurity in herself which creates paranoia. I think by this point she should’ve MOVED ON and could clearly see that the reason Sublime was friends with Adrien is their many similarities. I hope they give her development where she learns to be less insecure since it’s been TEN YEARS
I didn't fully understand the meaning of Sublimation's powers not working on them, I think it might have been because she tried to make them better at being heroes, but they're already the best heroes they can be so it didn't work? Idk, but I'm glad the power didn't work on Cat Noir either because a lot of times he's been made out to be less than LB by the show, despite them being suposed to be equals Also Marinette realizing she was the villain in the end was really refreshing and gives me hope for the direction the show is taking
5:37 yea i was also confused but maybe it's just abt her hero persona? ig Ladybug at the moment was at the best of herself bcs Chat Noir hyped her up and she was confident in that moment idk
She had her moments in like season five, but she could hold hands with Adrian and like stuff without freaking out, but she also freaked out on some moments so it’s kind of she had a little bit but not enough for it to count
I really really really fucking hope they develop Marinette's character more this season, and I hope said development remains consistent. I am getting pretty sick and tired of them refusing to give her a proper arc as the main protagonist. I'm honestly surprised by how stagnant she has been despite getting 90% of the show's runtime dedicated to her and her story, sidelining Adrien, the secondary protagonist in the process. If you're going to cut one of your core characters out of the main plot almost entirely, why are you not spending all of that extra time on the one character you desperately want to include? It's baffling how little focus Marinette has gotten despite getting the most screentime. It's weird. I'm hoping they change things this season. I don't want another stupid rehash. Give me fresh narrative fruits to sink my teeth in, I'm starving!
Adrien isn't blind to marinette's weirdness. Everyone around her acknowledges it, and sometimes call her out, he just accepted the whole package of her when they decided to go out, so there's this and that but he simply likes her anyway, much like Alya. Besides he wasn't about to trash talk his girl with a newcomer. I'd also like to say that, marinette's bad behaviors are NOT being justified by this show. They use nearly every adequate situation that appears for a character or a situation to prove that she's wrong, just like in this episode where her actions provoked serious consequences she had to face; with Alya calling her out every now and then... The episode where we saw the flashbacks leading to her obsessive behavior was indeed only to explain it and NOT any form of justification. Showing how unfair events led someone to misbehave doesn't magically make the person's actions good, or even just look okay. If the point of the episode was to justify her messes, why would she precisely want to stop acting this way when the memories resurged? I believe that episode was the beginning of her "healing" process and this new episode is a continuation of it, I find sense to it since such behavior can't just go away in one day. I look forward to eventually seeing her get rid of it for good.
I wonder why lila was at the stadium and how is she always at the right palce to see a scene to send a akuma to , it made sense in illustrhater cause she was probbably stalking marinette and Adrien but what was she doing at the stadium
Technically, the power turns them into the best version of themselves, which unfortunately means that's as good as Marinette/Ladybug is gonna get lol 😂
I really liked it! It was so funny whenever something would go wrong with Sublime and Marinette runs to help (including RUNNING ON THE WALLS) and then she just use hair to fix the problem instantly i also just love Lila as new hawk moth because compared to season 1 where the villain also was just a one note angry man Lila always feels like a manipulator on the side of the one she's trying to get control of and feels more threatening because of how sudden she appears also the second time she talks to sublime's mum is so hilarious look the squash on her head 🤣
I'm sick of that, i loved Marinette in S1 even w her weird character but we wanted a character development and it seem like we will never get it how tf this is S6 and she's dating Adrian but she's still stalking him and couldn't talk to him normally, i wish her character was like Ladybug imma kick her ass if she was a real person
5:34 the reason marinette doesn't change is because sublimations power is not related to generic 'best version' of yourself, it is related to you being the best version in her eyes. If that's not what you want to be, you can be confident enough to change it. Hope this helped 😁
Chloe will be back by the end of season 6. She's currently in the United States, a country with 100 times Europes superhero population...and a well developed support network. Chloe just has to find someone who can rebuild her powers as the queen bee. Then as she tries to function as a superhero with a French origin, she'll trigger restrictions on superhero movement set up to prevent wars and get deported to France.
Maybe marinette is acting like this in season 6 because she doesn't want to think about Gabriel and her lies she told so shes distracting herself and keeping busy instead of acknowledging what happened at the end of season 5, as for sublime she seems lovely i hope she has more to do, marinette voice actress has said that sublime will shake up the love story between Adrien ans marinette i dont know how to feel about it since we've already had characters like that for example kagami and luka, i guess we will have to wait and see what sublime does.
I’ll always and I mean Always be upset and angry that Kim, Félix and Sabrina get a miraculous but Chloe doesn’t. I’m delulu so I’m hoping that in the very very end Chloe does get the Bee miraculous back and Zoe gets the butterfly miraculous (that or Zoe keeps the bee and Chloe gets the butterfly.)
You are right about Marinette finally having to face consequences for once. I was relieved when the mirror thing happened. You can totally tell Astruc stepped down from being involved with the episodes and that he's just focusin on the season overall because he would have never made his imaginary daughter face consequences. All I hope he's not going to barge in to perform his vision of damage control again like he did with S3 Chloe's redemption arc.
I think what they were trying to say when she got hit by the villain is that LADYBUG is the best version of MARINETTE; However, we even see ladybug make some interesting choices sooo
5:30 for what it's worth, i don't think sublimation truly makes people a true better version of themselves. i think it's just her biased view of being the best and ladybug and cat noir just happened to fit that bias, while not actually being their true best selves. i think this because sublimation also hit sublime's dad and he became back-handedly rude and a borderline neglectful parent, which clearly isn't good. just like how the mom was throughout the episode.
@@FeligamiAdrizoeSworaDooplivian if you think about it, Alix dosen’t have limitations unlike any of the other characters and alya can’t lie to Nino full time.
its weird its either they excuse her for what she does or blame her for shit that is like .0001% her fault example for both. like you said her weird stalking, for the other not showing up with that meet up with chat where she literally said im gonna be busy tonight and his responce is well ill be there anyway in case you change your mine
5:37 ladybug is. Marinette isn't. I believe tikki bended the lucky charm to show marinette how ridiculous she acts. Her ladybug form most of the time makes her understand what she does is wrong while her real persona is just creepy.
I personally thought this episode was ok. Introducing a new character is nice. The only thing I have against it is just a ridiculous tiny nit-pick. And that's only that my favorite character (Marc/Rooster Bold) didn't appear in it even though the episode is called 'Sublimation' and that's the name of his power. Other than that, they episode is fine. Just another episode to be honest.
Opinions on the new episode? What do you think of sublime?
Sublime is a sweetheart. And Marinette doesn’t deserve to be friends with her.
Where can I watch it I can’t find it anywhere 😭😔
@@utterlychloe I love Sublime’s hair. Also, good on the mother for being upset for her daughter.
They need to stop having the girl suddenly be good friends/besties with Marinette and forget and forgive what she did.
I find it annoying how the writers can excuse Marinette's actions because of "main character syndrome".

@@clarisacalderon9555 could you please fix the spelling mistakes? it makes it very hard to read and understand 😭
maybe its because she's hiding the fact that his father was fucking hawkmoth, something she didnt have to do in season 5???? mlb fans have zero media comprehension its crazy
the writers don't seem to be able to write marrinette as a normal person. either she's so quirky and annoying and her body can move 200 mph and she bumps into things every five seconds (seasons 1-3, then now) or she's so depressed cuz her job is so hard that she just cries to alya, and herself, and tikki (4 and beginning of 5).
I still don’t understand why they won’t release the first episode
IS THAT A HAZBIN HOTEL PFP?!!!!❤❤❤❤
Because they wanna be annoying
instead of the first episode they’re releasing the ELEVENTH.
They are gathering our frustration just like hawk moth was. That is the only reason.

NOT JK ROWLING 😭😭😭😭
@AbedulTG I know. It's very sad.
I still like Marinette/Ladybug(ladybug a lot more) but i cannot understand why she cant speak to Adrian in s6 when in s5 she was talking to him just fine(atleast from what i remember)and even stood up to his father💀
I think she's subcontiously distracting herself from the guilt she's feeling about lying about his father
the writers are arse.
FR, like I understand why people are mad at Marinette this episode but don't bring up that she wasn't THIS down bad in season 5 when she was dating Adrien. That was supposed to be the point of her growth and it's like this season just reset everything.
@@ultimxtemiracxler Someone needs to take away their reset button.
It’s like Ben 10. They reverted the character back to how they were in the beginning of the show to make the characters seem more familiar/“funny” to children. It didn’t work for Ben 10 and it didn’t work here.
Sublime is soo pretty we better see more of herrrrr
I really liked how the Lucky Charm showed how Ladybug/Marinette was the villain. It’s like Tikki was telling Marinette “Girl, what the hell was that. Fix it.”
I also thought it was similar to the recurring man vs monster thing in EPIC: The Musical, especially in the songs Just A Man and Monster.

@@victoriarose10 Lol yeah, I’ve listened to it more than a dozen times since the first time. Which was about two weeks ago.
Marinette and Adrian are together now SO WHY IS MARI STILL LIKE THIS UGHHHHH. As for Sublime, i feel bad for her having to put up with Mari's behavior and honestly she's very sweet.
because character development doesnt exist in this show. If anything I think marrienette got worse compared to season 1 LOL.
I NEED THE VOICE OVER RN 😭
the cringiness and stalking aside, i think this was a good episode for marinette because it didn’t allow her to have a pass and forced her to acknowledge he poor decision. i think she will grow from here. also i think this is foreshadowing for her becoming an actual villain later on.
Nah, I want Adrian to have a villain arc. He deserves one.
The creator of the show has a hate-boner for Chloe, so I sadly doubt this.
I loved this episode so much it was amazing and when marrinette hit her face into that pillar it was so funny
Where did u watch it?
@Cut3Cats4life Disney channel
@Cut3Cats4life look up miraculous/to (with a dot instead of a slash, yt will delete my comment otherwise). It has all of the seasons and newest episodes.
Honestly ur so right marrinette has serious stalking issues and I hate how the show makes it like there’s nothing wrong her they made her personality so much more weirder in this season for no reason and honestly someone gotta tell this girl TO CHILL OUT
5:09 Marrinette was like a normal person for like the second half of season 5, after she and Adrien basically just had not believing lila to bond over, and then it kinda fell apart after that
I think her character development peaked in Revolution when she was encouraging Adrien and all her friends to stand up to Chloe and Adrien’s father.
@BrendanFeng-t4c defenitly
I'm gonna be honest, I think the reason that Sublime didn't bring up the rest of Marinette's behaviour is due to not understanding
She isn't aware of the rest of the stuff that Marinette has done, she's just being supportive and compassionate
i actually cannot stand marrienets quirky and awkward personality.
So, it is okay to now defend sociopaths by saying "well, that's just how they are." Great message to the children, right?
you hit the nail on the head
when you search the word “mary sue” on a dictionary, Marinette Zoe and Sublime’s faces show up
I think Marinette has flaws. Sublime and Zoe don't seem to have them however

This episode was written Marinette could face consequences, don’t think into it too much lol
Wait ? Are u okay though ? I wouldn't be brave enough to rewatch that tbh.
@sanogoyuga Might be unpopular opinion, but I actually quite enjoyed s5 and think it's a good season (at least definitely a step up from previous ones). Though I'm disappointed with what s6 provided so far
@friday5647 same.
Who names their kid sublime anyways?

Exactly! There really is. Marinette shouldn’t be let off the hook for what she caused!
istg marinette is actually making me so pissed. she's with the love of her life, she stalked tf out of him, knew his entire life by heart, now that shes with him, she can't even TALK to him?? its like she doesnt even love him atp. I atleast thought this season she was gonna get atleast a little bit "mature" but no. she's the exact same she's even worse than before.
And her fans dares to call Lila pure evil. I hate these people.
i really like sublime. I feel like shes how zoe shouldve been written as a whole.
I'm sorry but it's so gross that subby freaking ate with the sticks in her hair and used them as chopsticks
I felt all of Asia crying at the scene
Other than that shes cool
I love sublime so far just based off the recap, the representation is great ❤ she seems very relatable too ngl
I’m just mad because in season five Adrien realized marrinette acts weird when she’s anxious so they should have carried that into season 6. THEY BETTER SHOW CHLOE IN THE INTRO NOW 😡😡😡😡😡😡
BTW I LOVE UR CONTENT IVE BEEN WATCHING SINCE YOU STARTED 💗
Chloe is my fav character
I thought it was funny as hell when she started acting like a disney princess (that one scene when animals are surrounding her)
4:33 yeah, I’m so sad they didn’t change her like not her whole personality like just a little bit but they didn’t. They just went back like to season one. I don’t know I’m so sad about it. But anyway, I stopped why I don’t have high expectations for shows they always disappoint me 🥲
They always refresh her personality every season
Missed opportunity to not have Marc and the Rooster Miraculous in this episode, though, considering its power is literally Sublimation.
I just don’t understand how she can’t speak to Adrian anymore. Last season when they were alone they did so well. And now she LITERALLY DITCHES HIM out of fear. How tf is he still dating her if she stands him up every single date 😭
I'm so proud of you. Love you!!❤
💕💕
I think Marinette’s main issue is her horrible insecurity in herself which creates paranoia. I think by this point she should’ve MOVED ON and could clearly see that the reason Sublime was friends with Adrien is their many similarities. I hope they give her development where she learns to be less insecure since it’s been TEN YEARS
Anyway sublime is AWESOME and we need MORE OF HER because she’s SO PRETTY LIKE OMG???
Yeah but I don’t have high hopes considering this female lead show is written by mostly males
I didn't fully understand the meaning of Sublimation's powers not working on them, I think it might have been because she tried to make them better at being heroes, but they're already the best heroes they can be so it didn't work? Idk, but I'm glad the power didn't work on Cat Noir either because a lot of times he's been made out to be less than LB by the show, despite them being suposed to be equals
Also Marinette realizing she was the villain in the end was really refreshing and gives me hope for the direction the show is taking
Hi utterly Chloe I love your videos❤
Thank you so much!!
You have the most iconic intro of the history of iconic intros
Just me or is the name "Sublime" and Sublime in general kinda pretty lowkey..?
I really liked it! It was so funny whenever something would go wrong with Sublime and Marinette runs to help (including RUNNING ON THE WALLS) and then she just use hair to fix the problem instantly
i also just love Lila as new hawk moth because compared to season 1 where the villain also was just a one note angry man Lila always feels like a manipulator on the side of the one she's trying to get control of and feels more threatening because of how sudden she appears
also the second time she talks to sublime's mum is so hilarious look the squash on her head 🤣

I'm sick of that, i loved Marinette in S1 even w her weird character but we wanted a character development and it seem like we will never get it
how tf this is S6 and she's dating Adrian but she's still stalking him and couldn't talk to him normally, i wish her character was like Ladybug
imma kick her ass if she was a real person
5:34 the reason marinette doesn't change is because sublimations power is not related to generic 'best version' of yourself, it is related to you being the best version in her eyes. If that's not what you want to be, you can be confident enough to change it. Hope this helped 😁
thanx god someone talks about Marinette's behaviour, ive only seen people justifying her help
I am so sick of people which defend Marinette and call Lila and Chloe pure evil. This is sick.

She dint faced consequences. She has a new friend. Thats not consequences.
