- Clint, Cal and Alex continue their neverending journey to watch 100 of the greatest movies of all time! No, they still don't know where they rank on the list! Meanwhile, the near-sentient Top 100 algorithm continues to throw curve balls. This time there is a theme: community! And yes, the clips, quotes and music in the trailer are populated by movies from each of the combined lists, and most will be featured this season.
Be sure to check back on January 28th when our first episode of season 2 kicks off with Akira Kurosawa's samurai masterpice, Seven Samurai. If you haven't seen it or need a refresher, it's available on Max and the Criterion Channel.
The music track, Square One, was composed and conducted by Jerry Goldsmith for the Universal motion picture, The 'Burbs.
CineFix Top 100 is produced by Tayo Oyekan, with Director of Photography, Jamie Parslow and Technical Producer, Marhyan Franzen. Our Executive Producers are Clint Gage, Dan Parkhurst and Corrado Caretto. Logo and graphic design by Eric Sapp and title animations by Casey Redmon.

Of the movies shown in this trailer, which one are you most excited for?
I would love an actual competent discussion about The Three Amigos without it just devolving into "Remember this scene?" and "Lookuphere, lookuphere". There's palpable tension in the film from every character's point of view outside of the Main ones, and that's what makes it so funny.
The Bar scene in particular, you can cut the tension in the room with a dull knife. The fear you see and hear on every character's face is hilarious because we see what the German comes in and does immediately after the Three Amigos leave. The fear those characters must have felt in the context of the movie makes the entire scene feel really unhinged in a good way.
La Haine
Three Amigos!
Definitely Three Amigos but the Warriors plus so many others
The first, "Seven Samurai"!
Thrilled for the return of the top 100. Not sure this season needed a theme, but curious to see how much it influences or changes the show.
I liked the randomness of it but as long as y'all keep this podcast going do whatever you gotta do. Love hearing the three (sometimes two) of you discuss movies in a fun way like this
Can’t wait! Seven Samurai has long been on my backlog list of shame; looking forward to watching it before the new episode.
So excited to have it back!
The twist should be that you actually talk about movies in the top 100 👀
In less than an hour
@@penguin44caI would never turn down listening to Clint for an hour
Gosh..I love this channel so much..Heaven for a cinephile like me ❤❤❤❤
Keep up the good work! Love from Sweden!!
So excited for Seven Samurai, a brilliant film. But was that Dead Poets Society right at the end?! Now that, I cannot wait for. I was SUCH a geek for that film as a teen haha.
I missed you Cinefix Top 100!
La Haine! I hear less discussion of that one than the other obvious masterpieces here (Jaws, Seven Samurai, Princess Mononoke).
I usually love your lists but I never seen a list so random as this one.
LETS GOOOO!!! MOVIES GO BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!
So happyl this is retuning
Les gooo
Finally - Monty Python!🥳
Hot Fuzz is a perfect fit. For the greater good.
Hope to see it’s a wonderful life 🎉
Letterboxd it please
Theme? Internet hermits like me dgaf about community. I would prefer this year's theme be a regular ol' countdown of the top 100. Great show, but one of the previous ones didn't even get an actual ranking (I think it mightbhave been Terminator 2).
I know we all hate Dan, but I bet this was his idea and he has good ideas sometimes #JusticeForDan
Sometimes...
Don't encourage him!
So Disney's Robin Hood makes the cut? Excellent, that's on my top 100 as well.
Oo-De-Lally!
I'm here to inform everyone that Pedro Pascal in the 2023 Emmys cosplayed as Clint Gage!
Just a thought: I know you tend to save the name of the next film, but maybe give us a heads up (like here) so we can watch/re-watch. These Top 100 video blogs have become kind of a movie club for me (and I'm sure others).
Confirmed episodes so far (In alphabetical order):
Boogie Nights
The 'Burbs
Disney's Robin Hood
La Haine
High and Low
Jaws
The Naked Gun
Princess Mononoke
Rear Window
Seven Samurai
Star Wars: A New Hope
Three Amigos
Toy Story
I've left a few off to save some surprises, but you'll see why very soon. - Dan
@@CineFix Thanks, Dan. Freaking "La Haine." Excellent.
I'm so incredibly excited for that one. As a person who has collected physical media for most of their lives, it's one of like five movies I've felt like I should buy every time I see it in a store, just to give it to someone else as a gift. - Dan
@@CineFix It's one of those "YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS" films that you run into danger of overselling. And it is so relevant to today, which is great for the filmmakers, not so much for us...
Season 2? When did season 1 end?
Raiders of the Lost Ark!
Trying to hard to be different. Why not just start at 100 and work your way to 1 like top lists are expected to work?
The theme seems unnecessary and kind of awkward, but I’ll hold judge for now. I would prefer just like a regular cadence of videos so we can get through the original list in whatever order
I thought the twist was going to be you picking good films for a change.
for what purpose
The greater good.
This was such a fun concept but so poorly executed. Almost never on schedule, sometimes talking about films not even in the Top 100, and now this idea that just isn’t it. I love your content but I have been very dissapointed.
