As a Pennsylvania native born and raised even worked at knoebels as a kid, Phoenix is a roller coaster that has a special place in my heart I am sure to ride it at least twice every year
When I was a young kid the ride attendant let me on the Phoenix when I didn’t fit the size requirement and when we went down the big drop I came out of my seat and over the bar and my aunt had to pull me back down into my seat and hold me in the ride so I wouldn’t die lmao
Impulse is deceptively wicked. Tiny 2 row 8 seater cars give a truly unique feel and having _just_ a lap bar for vertical lift, drop and inversions makes the ol fart box pucker a bit but i love it❤
I live 2 hours away from knobles, go there all the time bc my pap pap and Gigi live close to it! Awsome park, even with some water slides and mat slides!
@@corbinmiller5121 lol bruh everyone knows. You don't need to tell people sharing their small park experiences to go to cedar point. Its stupid af. Everyone knows about CP and SV
I like how you went from Hershey to knoebles because I havnt been to knoebles in a long time because I just go to Hershey so it's nice to see rides I've barely seen and it's nice to see the rides at Hershey because I ride those almost every week
You know what? Impulse is better than people give it credit for...kinda underrated in my eyes. Good first drop, some decent laterals, and the hangtime on that zero-g roll... Shame that Zierer haven't made more of them. They're such a good ride for the minuscule footprint.
Love Roller coasters and Koebel's has some good ones, especially Twister/Phoenix. But the best non rollercoaster ride at the park was the bumper cars. It's been 15 years since I've been there, but they used to have metal bumpers and went fairly fast haha. Favorite bumper cars I've ever been on. Someone can confirm if they are still as good as it's been a while for me :-)
Knoebles is my local theme park also it has the best rides the flume the slpoosh the twister the phoenix and the impulse are the best rides in PA this is just my opinion
The phoenix was my first roller coaster and it scared me when I started flying out my seat I thought I was gonna fall out or something but I didn't and I went on all the coasters In this video except for the kozmo
I want to go here just to ride on Black Diamond. Anyone who visited Morey’s Pier back in the day remember it as The Golden Nugget. I just want to see it in person again.
I used to be so scared as a kid to go on coasters. Just the fear of dying I guess. Now they don’t bother me at all and my only hesitation is that I might put a crick in my back hahahaha getting old 😢
I forget what the pirate ship one is called (not a roller coaster) but I’m pretty sure we are not strapped in…..I might be wrong but I think there’s only bars to hold onto in the front
flying turns is extremely overrated, does not feel like your flying, 20 minute line for not that much fun, it’s not boring but it’s just not worth 20 minutes, impulse and the wood coasters on the other hand are very worth the line almost every single time.
I went yesterday for the first time in 15 years. The impulse scared the hell out of me and Flying Turns came to be my favorite ride in the whole park.
As a Pennsylvania native born and raised even worked at knoebels as a kid, Phoenix is a roller coaster that has a special place in my heart I am sure to ride it at least twice every year
Same here bro. The phoenix is special to a lot of people here in Central PA. Knobels is so nostalgic and probably one of my favorite places on earth ❤
I ride at least 5 times a year lol
Yeah, Phoenix is a really good roller coaster. I also liked the other wooden coaster in the park.
When I was a young kid the ride attendant let me on the Phoenix when I didn’t fit the size requirement and when we went down the big drop I came out of my seat and over the bar and my aunt had to pull me back down into my seat and hold me in the ride so I wouldn’t die lmao
Yeah I lived an hour away, it was my first real roller coaster, by that I mean things that aren’t cosmos curves, like first non kid roller coaster.
Flying Turns is such a SMOOTH ride…it literally feels like you are flying!!!
Twister was my first ever 100 foot coaster, and I was holding on so tight to those handelbars and was holding on for dear life
It was my first too & it’s still my favorite to this day
I just went on it today and I can relate to holding on for dear life😂
Phoenix looks like a REALLY good wooden coaster. Everything looks fun. Might need to take a trip to PA
It's top tier. The only ones I've been on that beat it are Boulder Dash and El Toro. Voyage would too, if it wasn't so rough.
I flew up out of my seat when I rode it
it is so fun! i love it , everytime i go, i go on it. dorney has good roller coasters too.
It is VERY fun. You get so much airtime. Plus you get some pretty nice views.
Trust me the Phoenix is amazing. You gotta go on it
Flying Turns.. what a crazy unique coaster! I’d love to ride it someday. It’d be different every time.
It's pretty awesome!
Im a bit late but flying turns was closed when i when to knobels cuz i think there was no one test inspect the ride :/
I went on it tuesday it was awesome
Rode it yesterday. It's a fun experience but wayyy too short for me, left a bit more to be desired but i liked it.
FLYING TURNS IS AMAZING
Impulse is deceptively wicked. Tiny 2 row 8 seater cars give a truly unique feel and having _just_ a lap bar for vertical lift, drop and inversions makes the ol fart box pucker a bit but i love it❤
So glad to see my hometown park get so much love and Recognition! Great video & povs!
Thank you! Any place remotely as good as knoebels deserves all the attention in the world
Hell yea!
Yes me too! I am from around there too it takes me 30 minutes or so to get there! Never knew this would happen
Yeah, I live 15 minutes away and always go here with my friends
@@frozen_paws_k9same
The Twister is my favorite roller coaster there. I love it 😂
Just rode it for the first time today and it’s also my fav now
Me too beat 2:10 of my life
2 min 10 sec is twister duration
Wow, there's no track on the turns of the last one? That's pretty cool! It's basically a bobsled.
It's a great coaster! It just sucked when I went, it was almost a half hour queue.
its called a bobsled coaster
@@Infernoblade1010 yeah it’s my favorite at the park
The only down fall is you have to get your cart weighted
Yes! I was at Knobels last Saturday and that line is always an hour or more wait! But it is really fun
I live 2 hours away from knobles, go there all the time bc my pap pap and Gigi live close to it! Awsome park, even with some water slides and mat slides!
I love your roller coaster videos
This is the only theme park I’ve ever been to except for the one in Hershey. I’ve been there once.
I love only living 1 hour from Knoebels. The best place imo.
Thanks for sharing this!!
Thank you for watching 🤝
The phoenix is my favorite ride at knobeles. Its won awards as being the best wooden roller coaster in America
I went here last month and it was great to ride some of the main rides. Phoenix was definitely my favorite but Twister was awesome.
Glad ya liked it! I definitely wish we had more than a few hours there
Ima be honest, if you like phoenix go to cedar point and ride steel vengeance it is a 5x better ride!!

It’s an awesome little park !!
@@TheCoasterScoop i know right! And all of the rides are reopened so now I can go on all of them!
I rode Phoenix twice when I went to Knoebels, and I swear I could feel that video on my organs.
I've been going here since I was a little kid and it's always getting better!
i’m going there today! i really can’t wait!
The impulse is so much fun❤

Even more Hershey content over the next few weeks! Thanks for watching
The Phoenix is a throwback to all the classic wooden coasters like the Coney Island Cyclone and the Great Escape Comet.
I Live 20 Mins Away From Knobels And I’m Going There Soon So I’m Gonna Try To Ride Everything.

@Theo Theory you shouldn't even be comparing it to lightning rod horrible comparison
Its a cheap theme park and its really good for the price.
@@theo-theoryhow does this relate to lightning rod
Woah I didn't know flying turns was reopened I'll have to try it next time I go!
I didn't know Black Diamond was a rollercoaster. I just saw it as a really cool dark ride
I'm still a child and I have a fear of rollar coasters, but I ride that ride and I also didn't know it was a roller coaster
1:55 I have gone on it. It’s smooth fast fun hundred percent would recommend recommend my second favorite coaster.
We go there like every year and I love it

Bro had so much airtime on the wooden coasters😂
I live in PA and I have been to knoebels a million times, never have been on the phoenix.
The impulse may be the scariest looking roller coaster in knoebels
Yeah Fr when your coming into knobles just look straight up and u see the 90 degree drop right there, I’m never going on that
Black diamond is the scaryist
Black Diamond is fun too!
The phoenix is so fun it feels like ur flying out of ur seat so much adrenaline
Knoebles is the best park in the world ❤
i love knobels i go there a lot every summer im going soon for like four or five days
i just went yesterday and went on every roller coaster
it was my first ride on impulse and lets just say its way better with your eyes closed 💀✋
Black Diamond is a dark ride tho... But those coasters are AMAZING!
In its original concept, it was considered both.
Black diamond is a coaster bruh
Twister is always my favorate i gotta go on it atleast 3 times every trip
5:02 good to hear Rob Zombie still getting work
Is there a drop when it’s dark on Phoenix ?
No, it's just a tunnel that takes you to the chainlift. I promise! 😊
0:43 they say to hold on to the lap bar bro
I’m going tommorow I love the impulse
Foying turns is like best
Black diamond looks rlly dark on video but in person it’s like a bunch of miners and skeletons, kind of like a haunted house roller coaster
I live in Pennsylvania, I been took a nobles, it's so fun.
How did you get permission to film
The twister was so loud when I rode it but it was my favorite one
on the impulse i was rethinking my decisions of riding it at around 0:54
What kind of camera and harness are you using? I’m glad they allow filming unlike some parks.
I went on this when I was 4
