Hi Dad’s Army Peeps! I’m a young fan, and when I’m older I want to be a sitcom writer. Jimmy Perry and David Croft are my biggest inspirations, they are just exceptional. This episode is one of their best works in my opinion, just showcases their comedic genius, and Arthur Lowe’s talent for acting, he’s the best drunk actor I’ve ever seen. I wish I was alive when these were first broadcast, ‘comedy’ shows now are just so forced and weird.
