    Why do they talk about Weinstien like they don't know anything. This host of the man show definitely knew.

      I don’t think all of them knew. It’s not like he went around harassing ppl in public. He was rly good at hiding that stuff. Yes many of them knew, but there was no solid evidence, and it’s literally your career at risk.

    The point is... the predator does not care if she’s arroused. They are inflicting that on their victims without caring if she will like it or not.... so that in the future she will be weak when she sees him. He wants power over beautiful women.... not their love or admiration.

    One of my favorite things about listening to Stern on terrestrial was that i could talk about the show with other people. It was a whole other dimension that made the experience even more fun.
    A few years ago, I subscribed to SIriusXM so I could listen again. After about a year, I realized that I was 100% alone, so I kept SiriusXM but dropped the Stern package. I literally don't know a single person who subscribes to sat radio and gets for Howard. It took so much of the fun away, because I felt like I was all alone, and was 180º different than it was in the glory days of the 90s. If anyone thinks Howard has more listeners now, they are completely delusional.

    There's things about Howard I've never liked, mainly because in real life he's a much more humble, introspective person that feels he has to degrade and sensationalize people on the air. But I've always appreciated his honesty and how he has no delusions about his own inadequacies, unlike a Gene Simmons. You always get the truth from Howard when it comes to himself and I like that about him.

  • @littlemissmello

    I literally just saw an interview of him with Ringo Starr in the 90's somewhere and the way he talked of women there... I wouldn't be surprised if he's in the same club as Weinstein. Not saying he is, but I wouldn't be surprised if he was.

      U must be young... Howard's not that way. As a woman, who had been actually sexually assaulted, I find fellow women to be far more vicious than men.

    • @littlemissmello
      @littlemissmello 3 роки тому

      @@Time_to_Stop_Animal_Cruelty I'm not so young no and I cannot agree. I have only experienced "minor" sexual assaults (I don't like calling it minor but it's less serious compared to what some of my friends have experienced throughout the years) but I've never had a woman approach or touch me in any untoward way.
      No one, including me, is saying that all men are bad (not at all), but women getting frequently sexually assaulted by men is not a fairy tale but a provable fact.
      I'm also not saying that Howard is definitely of that kind, but I have seen him _very_ often talk about women in extremely misogynist ways that are frankly unacceptable if you ask me. You don't talk about people in that way. That's all.
      PS: if you had taken a moment you would've seen that my channel is more than a decade old and no one who's been on youtube for more than a decade can be _that_ young - your channel on the other hand was made last month so I have my doubts about the authenticity.

      @@littlemissmello - chill sweetie - Howard and Ali G be just joking. Again, Howard is not that way. After he lost his dog, him n his wife adopted few n treated/fosters 100's of kittens n disabled cats . I'm an animal rescuer n i know they did that even though they never had a cat, cuz they knew even society discriminates against species of animals. Dogs get adopted, cats r euthanized. He spends all day scooping cat litter n playing n laughing with kittens. So, don't phuck with Howard, Conan, Norm McDonald, n Bob Odenkirk😻 - my gang of animal lovers, lol .

    I really enjoy Stern's show now, especially the banter he has with Robin. He's very respectful of her and lets her get her comments in and they complement each other well. You could see Jimmy getting a little nervous when he started going down THAT road, but he did it well, kept it clean and treated the 'issue' with respect. I actually find him funnier now than I did back when he was doing the 'cruder' stuff. He's respectful of his interviewees, and anyone who listens to his show KNOWS what kind of show it is.
    He's self-deprecating too, which is always a charming trait.

      Howard definitely has no right to act all pious when he has pressured countless girls to do things they did not want to do like getting naked, carrying out sex acts with sex toys, other people, etc. Many said no over and over until they buckled to the pressure and many celebs are being accused of doing far lesser things yet Howard is still accepted by mainstream media. When girls were successful in turning down his demands, they were insulted, humiliated and called prudes. The guy has no right to be all high and mighty, if anything, his airing to millions through radio and TV only normalised that kind of harassing behaviour.

    I've listened to every Howard Stern show since 2009, but this past month I've fallen behind for the first time ever, and am catching up on shows, currently on Sep 18th show. I feel so out of the loop hearing guests he interviewd, and I havn't even heard what they did for cocktober yet.

    it's nice that men are talking about it too, BUT IT WOULDN'T BE OK EVEN IT THE GUY is YOUNG AND ATTRACTIVE! the problem is about power inbalence and consent and the way some people take some women for granted!

      it wasn't the women who accused him, people just dug out old footage when he was "flirting" with a reporter and then she quickly said that it was consensual.

      Mary007 IMO, women can say no. If they say yes, because they want to advance their career, that is consensual. You going to make it illegal for two people who don’t have same level of power to do it? Legislating all the freedom right out of life... plus it would fail. And women use men constantly: shouldn’t that be illegal too?

    • @xad9057
      @xad9057 7 років тому +10

      @Janaka, he may not have raped anyone, but he's pressured countless women on radio (and his defunct tv channel) to do things on his show that they did not want to do even after they repeatedly said no, and those that did manage to fend him off with their "no" were insulted, humiliated, called prudes etc. Things like getting them naked or carrying out sex acts on other people, sex toys, etc and many celebs are being accused of doing far less than that and Stern did it in the open.
      Not only that, but being that he aired his content to millions, he only helped normalise that behaviour, so can't all of a sudden act all high and mighty and disgusting, this is the perfect situation to use the pot, kettle, black idiom.
