At 3:04, you're only getting the 25 amps into the output battery as the input battery is maxed out (at 34A - take a look at the bottom of the LCD). Increasing input battery (12v) to 24v would likely solve this.
So I want to use this as my balancer for my lithium Bank I've built. I have a 6S lto which I built for my car I'm currently charging at 14.8 volts but that will be changing shortly each cell is 2.3 volts nominal
Frank Sarfino Thanks for getting your thoughts out so quickly on this charger. Just a small piece of advice: You should never power up a lipo charger, while having a pack connected on the charge port. Forgive me if you are already aware of this, but I was worried for you, while you power cycled your charger, without disconnecting the pack on the output.
dude slow down when you unplug the power and plug it back in... it uses a cpu that boot loads... doing it too fast can destroy it.... relax and slow down
Baxrok2 I did mention it as one of my gripes. However what ive found that I like is setting up the memory function. by using this feature I have a setting for 6 4s lipos and it's a one button click to charge a paraboard with 6 packs at 25a rate super convenient and fast 😀👍
I really wish someone would do a basic setup of this charger. (Hooking it up to a power supply, etc etc). I can’t find anything. I haven’t been into rc in decades.
You're only hitting 25 amps bec you're limited to 400 watts when only using 12v. To take full advantage of the charger you need a bigger 24v or 48v power supply.
Frank Sarfino Sweet cause I use 2s Lipo’s and I need away to charge them both at the track for me and my son. I have a bigger charger but having this one would be awesome to have. Thanks for the reply.

I'm planning to buy it, and it's been referred to a lot. Thank you.

Very helpful video!! I just picked up my x6 and i love it!! Much better than my old Hitec charger and much much faster!!!
So for the full regen discharge if you would’ve set the battery to 14.2 would that have gotten you the max discharge?

Elliot Baltazar hey thanks for the heads up appreciate it 👍
Put two 12 battery’s in series and then the charger will charge at 30 amp and is should let you discharge at 30amp as well.

Your pulley 34 amps from the 12 volt battery look on the bottom left of your screen
Question do I need that pc power supply to make this charger work ? I think I’ve seen or Hurd of ppl useing theee real car battery ?
Either will work for best results a high amperage 12 or 24v power supply is what you want.
@@fsarfino thank u sir.
Mine blew up and caught fire bad but I loved it
Hi Frank, We need this DC charges, we need same way AC charger too. or we would like to synchronize an SMPS with this charger. can you help us please?
can i do a quick discharge into a resistor when i have a dc power supply connected?
I'm unsure of that I do not have a resistor bank but I know it can be done with other icharger's
Where did you find the balancing plug? Mine did not come with it.
Mine didn't either. I just connected to a balance board 🙂
I have seen a lot of guys starting to use the x6. Thanks for your review.
Anytime man glad you enjoyed it.
You didn't talk about the button. However, I can already tell that little thing would drive me nuts! I think I'll hold off on the X6. Thanks!

Yes, you did, my bad. Creating presets so you don't have to use the button as much is a smart move. Thanks!
What power supply is recommended for this?
I personally use a modified hp dps-1200fb. But the vast majority of the time i use it off a marine battery for trunk charging
Dude, your music is too loud compared to your voice... makes it hard to understand you.

Good idea maybe I'll give it a go here in a bit
Frank Sarfino I would truly appreciate it! Thank you!

Getting crazy... 🥶
Can I use a parrell board and charge 2-2s Lipo’s.?
Sure I always parallel charge with this my typical setup is 6 packs @20a

Definitely a nice little charger for the money
It’s simple math... your only going to get max amps if it’s connected to a 24v power supply.
Your review made the icharger look like junk
Lol
i've read all the comments, and i do agree with them, terrible review period.
