So my self hosted box is not working. On my client i get the error "peer certificate verification failure" I even removed my cert and added a new one and it is still not working.
I only get my private ip address. Not a public one, how can I change this so that I can connect remote? Right now I can only connect from within my home network.
@wanazali6431 As I understand it, once the access server is set up, you connect to the access server, which then routes your traffic to the private network. If you are talking about accessing a network behind a CGNAT (most cell networks), a connection would have to be established from within the private network to the access server.
I think linode has a preinstalled option for openvpn. Its not too difficult to configure. I think there is a pretty simple web interface as I recall. Its been a couple of years since I have installed it. Runs without any problems.
Can it be obfuscated?
Phew, in the default openvpn install, the listening port for the service is incorrect and noticed only after watching your video. Thanks!
Great Tutorial. It worked like a charm!!
Hi, can you add a list of commands to a paste bin?
