To God be the Glory Miles. I just want to say thank you for the reminder of staying humble. My spirit was crushed as a drummer some time ago by some musicians and I never thought I’d be used by God to bring Him glory behind drums again. Back in March of this year I was allowed to play for my church for the 2nd time and God did something new in my life. I’ve been playing for my church since last year but I wasn’t playing with passion after those musicians from the prior praise team crushed my passion. A couple of days ago I came across your short here on UA-cam and it was an answered prayer. I had been asking God to reveal to me if drums is what I was supposed to be doing for Him (only because I was condemning myself) and when I found this short where you said to stay humble after making a simple mistake I realized God was revealing to me that my heart was in the right place. I got goose bumps when I saw this short because I had done similar accidents in the past with a praise team whose musicians caused me to feel that drumming wasn’t my calling. I cried when I saw you play and the spirit instantly showed me that this is what God called me to do. It doesn’t matter if a mistake is made as long as you continue and remain humble regardless of how good you are or young you are. He also showed me that most people won’t hear the mistake other than myself but we are to continue playing with passion and a pure heart. Now I practice and play with confidence knowing my worth in Gods praise team knowing that what I am doing is for Him and Him alone. Thank you for being that beacon for the Lord our God and for being a light for me my little brother. May God bless you abundantly and please keep sharing your passion to this lost world. We need more humble drummers like yourself to show others that we are instruments in Gods hand to be used for His glory so we can witness to others and share His word so others can come to Him. God’s Holy Spirit showed me that if you are being His hands and feet then I can be His hands and feet as well! Thank you Miles and thanks to your mom and dad who are great examples to you… Love God and Love others…🙏🏼
