The color schemes you've chosen are stunning and really capture the essence of the game. I'm excited to give this a try and bring my miniatures to life. Thanks for sharing your skills and knowledge!
Absolutely, I'll definitely explore your other videos! Your expertise and willingness to help are much appreciated. If any questions pop up, I won't hesitate to reach out. Keep up the awesome work!
Thanks for the comment! Definitely! I'm just average busy man, so I don't create videos over night, unfortunately, I aim for 1-2 videos a month. Next video will feature the Penitent Character, he will be done in two weeks time, stay tuned and I hope you enjoy the videos 😄 Have a nice day!
Love your videos. Thank you so much for posting these. I am new to painting minis and Oathsworn is my first deep dive into the hobby. One question - are all of the Army Painter colors you use speed paints? I am following along with my starter paints but don’t feel like I’m getting the same depth.
Hi Matt, thank you for the support! I'm glad to hear you're enjoying the videos 😄 Yes the only Army Painter I have in my arsenal is Speed Paints, everything else are Citadel or Vallejo. Are you applying a sufficient amount? It should be in a thick or heavy layer. Also, remember to shake the paint well before applying. In this tutorial, I'm using Speed Paints 1.0. I'm not sure how 1.0 and 2.0 compares to consistency, I believe it should be the same. Are you a member of the Oathsworn Group on Discord? You can find me there, and I'd be happy to help you.
I am not on the Discord group but will check it out. I do not have any speed paints yet just the “regular” Army Painter paints. That’s why I was curious. Keep up the great work, these are so helpful for a new painter like myself.
When I prime the models black followed by zenithal highlight, some areas remain pretty dark, especially the faces under the hoods. That means the speed paints dont have such a nice finish as on the models in your video. Also, sometimes the white prime turns out a bit rough/spotty, yours seems very even! Is that because you are using an airbrush?
Using a can, may end in a spotty result. There's much more control using an airbrush, and the result is more smooth. To be honest I don't use (and have never tried) a primer for zenithal highlight. Have you tried small bursts, maybe slightly angled? Just be careful not to cover with too much primer, as you might loose details on the models if the coat get to thick. If everything fails, you can also try to drybrush on white paint, on top of the black primer. Here you can also control the brightness and how smooth a result you want. Hope it was helpful. Or else, let me know!
@@Exit82guy these models are the Civilians, they are also in cardboard. The models are in a Mystery Chest, you will get to them when an Encouter ask you to open it, if you have the Mystery Chests, hopes this makes sense 😄 Let me know!
It would be fun to have the videos categorized into specific games: Oathsworn - An Introduction... Oathsworn - The Models/Painting Video nr. 1 to X - Oathsworn - Let's Play. That way there is a continious path throu the different videos. On top of that, you'd be able to make votes regarding "what's next" or maybe even have multiple series on multiple games/systems.
Hi Andreas, thanks for the comment! I plan to create a video introduction, which will feature on the front page, so new people can have a brief introduction to the board games I'm painting. At the moment, I plan to paint Oathsworn: Into The Deepwood and Aeon Trespass: Odyssey. I plan to organize them into specific playlists, starting with Episode 1, and then continuously add episodes as the painting series progresses. My focus on this channel is painting, so a Let's Play concept is not on the table for now. I won't rule it out, though, but please, don't hold your breath :) Further down the line, I will add polls and let the viewers decide whether it should be a Monster or a Character I should feature in the next video. I hope this elaboration was helpful. Have a nice day! :)
I'd love someone to do a painting series on Oathsworn and Aeon Trespass to completion!! Fingers crossed and good luck on all future projects!@@ThePaintingChronicles
@@marcogrigioni8716 Thank you! That is certainly the plan for mow, but unfortunately I'm just a one man army, with a full-time job, so stuff takes time 😄

I'm not sure what you mean? 😄

Nice. Speed paints you say.
Yes, they are pretty great!
I took it as a rule of thumb: All Oathsworn characters color scheme must have a pop up look on the green board. Harmony through color theory .
When I get to the Characters i will aim for the artwork, and I will do my best to make them special 😄
How many alt accounts do you use to comment on your videos?
To be quite honest, none.
Why do you ask?
