I'm from US and she is quite popular here, but I'm amazed the way Indians are able speak so many languages! English, Hindi, Panjabi at the same time !!! This is incredible, I really love India and wanna visit the country.
Because we have 22 official languages so english is our official and most of the Indians complete their graduation in English and because of hindi dominant in India so hindi also become our day to day language and other is our mother tongue because every state has different languages and if you want to migrate from one state to other specially metro cities like Mumbai and Delhi then you should know there local language too and why punjabi is famous because of their songs and punjabi and hindi commonly use in bollywood too so basically in our school we need to learn at least three languages English and Hindi compulsory in every States of north India and other is our state language and sanskrit for optional ( my english is not good because I am from vernacular medium student but still I am working on my english because english is important in office work)
In india there are 398 languages and I can speak 5Languages from India Marathi,Hindi, Sanskrit,Pali,Punjabi, And In india many people can speak English

I grew up in India and I do not have Indian accent at all. People ask me the same thing. When I was about 16 I got books from my aunty in Australia and used to practise Australian pronunciation a lot. May be shes done similar thing.
