H H Sri Swami Chidanandaji Maharaj 2nd Global International Divine Life Society Conference

At the dawn of the 21st Century, between the 30th of December 1999 and the 2nd of January 2000 was held the 1st Global International Divine Life Society Conference at Cross Maidan, in Mumbai. This was the first ever gathering of the members and devotees of the Divine Life Society family worldwide. It was none other than Pujya Gurudev Swami Chidanandaji Maharaj himself who declared in this conference the dates, the venue and perhaps had already initiated the process for organising the 2nd Global International Divine Life Society Conference at the Barabati Stadium, Cuttack, Odisha between the 30th December 2001 and the 2nd of January 2002. Pujya Gurudev said that this gathering should be "Abhutapurba" (a never before happenning) and indeed "Abhutapurba" it was !!!

What a glorious past of Shivanand Ashram when Chidanand Jee maharaj there but after 2006 the Ashram became dormant in organisation such functions specially at Rishikesh. Hope with great PM Modi appearance the Shivanand Ashram Rishikesh will return.🙏🙏
