@@bastard342 Detroit's Offensive Line has been playing well at both run-blocking and pass-blocking for a few years now. They have what is needed there and with their collection of pass-catching weapons. On defense, their only formidable 1st-stringer is DE#97 Aidan Hutchinson. They do have 2nd-stringers who should be 1st-stringers though. They would be better off if 2nd-string Weakside LB#49 Chris Board replaced Malcom Rodriguez, and what's more important is that rookie Strongside LB#59 James Houston IV replaces Derrick Barnes permanently. AT FS, 2nd-stringer #38 CJ Moore should replace Deshon Elliott.

I couldn’t agree more. I love Garrett Wilson and he’s already looking like he’s going to be an all time jet for a long time. But he has to stop showing up Zach. It’s unprofessional and it serves no purpose. I get he’s frustrated but you can’t just openly show displeasure every time a throw is off target. That needs to get corrected.

It's a young team and they're going to have to learn how to win these close games.

They piss me off like no other (especially Lafleur) but this Jets team is the most dramatically improved team, possibly ever. At least in recent memory for sure. Tragic the key injuries to ALL of the best players. Too much to overcome

For too many years, both of our teams have been rightfully seen as laughing stocks - but thankfully that is now no longer the case.
And if you can be reasonably patient, remembering how far you've already come in just one season, I think that patience will be highly rewarded in the near future.

Team Loss: we spotted them 14 when special teams gave up 6 on a punt; and defense gave up 6 on 4th and 1 and forever from the goal line with the win hanging in the balance. Zach had a great 1st half and didn’t in the 2nd half. His pick led to 3. No rushing offense against a bad defense seems….like a missed opportunity. Some play calling on LaFleur as he departed in the second half from what seemed to be working in the 1st half. And poor clock management by Saleh. Plenty of blame for this one to go around.

I will say it the lions are the most improved team in the NFL. They are def out for blood right now no teams wants to play them right now.
This really hurts because I allowed myself to have hope this season...so, this game took that hope and shit on it. We need a miracle...fingers crossed, we get it! The defense deserves to play beyond the end of the season.. We need Mike White back ASAP!

Yea Mike White is tough, he'll play hurt, yada yada. He still isn't the long term answer I don't think. Maybe he is, IDK. He doesn't scare me though as a Bills fan. The D does. Jets get that stud QB and you're going places.
I wanted them to take Allen. However the Offensive coaches would have no idea how to use him and be allergic to using his strengths. So probably for the best.

I'm assuming they didn't show it on the TV Broadcast because I hear few people talking about it, but on the last drive a player hit Zach Wilson extremely late. Would have been called roughing the passer for any other team. Jets remain the only team in the entire NFL that hasn't been on the beneficiary end of a roughing the passer call this season.

I did see it. The one today that got me was Garrett Willson got behind a guy late on the last drive. He got grabbed and his arm is literally being twisted behind his back. The ref is 10 feet away and turns away like he didn’t see it. Clearly defensive holding. This is nothing new with the Jets. Zach has never had a ruffing the passer in his first two years. I’ve seen at least 8 to ten and never called. Miami got called two weeks ago against the chargers on a clean sack. Refs are up to something for sure.
The refs kept the jets in this one. Refs took 7 off the board for detroit. Plenty of bad calls in the jets favor. The better team still won and this game was not as close as the score indicated
