I saw them two days ago, and when they played this song... They had a film of different musicians that have died on their backdrop. Sort of like a tribute. It was cool.
This is an awesome cover! I am a big Aerosmith fan and I like this band too so I really enjoyed it. I still prefer the original though with Steven Tyler's screams , but this version is still really good too.
@ twit8786 were you in pensacola? cause i was and they did that thing with elvis and michael jackson and hendrix and all really awesome dead guys on the screen. it was great and ben sounded awesome
it's really the best cover i've ever seen for the song. i'm a fan of Breaking Benjamin but to be true ben's vocal is not good as Steven's. but the cover is awesome!!!
This is a great cover and all but no one can sing this song like Steven Tyler can. The scream that Steven does at the end sends a chill down my spine every time.
@IAmmzyI yup. thats why i put his quote in there so every one could see it in case the dill weed decided to be a chicken shit about it and say he never wrote it.
@ArmystrongHOOAH1 lol no. it was that guy with the user name hemiman87. but for everyone's sake, we can all just call him "jiz whistle". that sounds reasonable for me. how bout you??? lol.
I thought this would be better, I love when people try to hit that high note that blew Tyler's vocal chords. Little disappointed whenever I hear a cover that either skips the line or completely changes that part. Train did a good job of covering this if you're looking for a better one. Also, this is NOT the best quality version of this same concert on UA-cam, there are at least 2 that I've seen that're better.
You definitely should write a song about your 'don't know shit' sittuation! This song was written by the Legendary rock singer Steven Tyler, lead singer of lengendary Rock band Aerosmith. "Dream On" was also the first single by Aerosmith from their 1973 debut album!
Is it just me or did the whole first half of this song sound way out of tune? Ben's singing was flat the whole time whereas the guitars I swear were tuned a hair differently. Ugh, I like Breaking Benjamin too; I should've enjoyed this way more than I did.
@hemiman87 "this song is not a cover,he wrote this about his drinking problems dumbass."... hmmmmmmmmm. who wrote this song first, aerosmith or bb?????? hmmmm. i didnt know ben had a drinking problem before he was able to talk. i'd love to rub it in your face, but you sir, are the dumbass. next time do your research cause obviously you dont know shit. the original song was made in 1973 and re released in 1976.
Even the security guards were getting into it!
I saw Breaking Benjamin last year and they covered a Metallica song and the security started moshing
some times Ben sounds absolutely magical and somehow nostalgic to me...
They did this at the concert my boyfriend saw and I'm so freaking jealous. Ben is so badass.
holy shit! how have i never seen this version before. this was the most badass cover of this song in history.
You know its an amazing cover when the bouncers are rocking out too!
every time i see a breaking benjamin live video the security guards are always jamming to the music, that is all they need to do
very awesome cover thanks for this and its awesome to see the bouncers getting into this performance also
YES they made this song sound incredible luv how he asks if anyone in the crowd has a light in the beginning
They should put this on their next album and make a studio version.
your right... i think that he has one of the best voices ever...
I heard him sing this song and many other live, it was badass. I hope the can make a new record soon.
I saw them two days ago, and when they played this song... They had a film of different musicians that have died on their backdrop. Sort of like a tribute. It was cool.
4:38 *bouncer approves*
I love the security guard doin air drums haha
This is an awesome cover! I am a big Aerosmith fan and I like this band too so I really enjoyed it. I still prefer the original though with Steven Tyler's screams , but this version is still really good too.
@ twit8786 were you in pensacola? cause i was and they did that thing with elvis and michael jackson and hendrix and all really awesome dead guys on the screen. it was great and ben sounded awesome
I saw them Play this At the Bryce Jordan Center in State College PA It was fucking amazing
they fucking surprise me every day and day..
best band ever
i love the security dude with glasses playing the drum part
did they show the video in the back round at this concert? at mine they had a video of greatest musicians who've died
How the edge stole christmas kicked ass!
This song is awesome!!
I was in Baton Rouge when I saw their show.
Dang. They rocked it.
i like how chad is makin everyone in the crowd wave
it's really the best cover i've ever seen for the song.
i'm a fan of Breaking Benjamin but to be true ben's vocal is not good as Steven's.
but the cover is awesome!!!
@3DGFORLYFE no. i heard that they started doin that a few concerts after this one. but i wish i could have seen it.
@sasrutobi1 he tried but he had 2 go an octave lower first
I thought it was just decent, up until about 4:10, then i was all "Holy frick" that was amazing!
@grimlock24601 I was there too! I think they did amazing!
it had 2 be good for those guards to be bobbing there heads like that funny stuff the 1 guys pounding his hands and everything towards the end lol
This is a great cover and all but no one can sing this song like Steven Tyler can. The scream that Steven does at the end sends a chill down my spine every time.
Great cover. It's really all I can say
@IAmmzyI yup. thats why i put his quote in there so every one could see it in case the dill weed decided to be a chicken shit about it and say he never wrote it.

@grimlock24601 i like it when they talk to the audience
@hemiman87 wow...really???
@mclaxin9 thanks to america idol, they do. sucks it had to be that way though instead of them discovering them through music like it should be.
@ultphilphan263 ya they had bob marley. jimi hendrix, stevie ray vaughan, and lik alot more but wen they showed michael jackson i flickd him off haha
its called dream on my friend :D
great cover. i thought Ben quit smoking though. :p

hahaha are you kidding me? lights one up right there
good fucking cover
lol security are having fun
@eddict9989 LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL excelent! xDD
How does he just start smoking :D
Ben should know as a singer, that smoking is terrible for his voice. Although it doesn't seem to have any major effect on it that I can notice.
@mentallyblonde321 lol maybe its just me, but when i read that, i automatically thought of that hippo thats on rocko's modern life. lmao. sorry.
@hemiman87 Your ignorance makes me want to cry....... T_T
@MTLittleWolf Is that a gay joke?! Naw, I'm just kidding BB FTW!
Please toon the guitar...
@dstormm13 of course nobody can do it
nobody does any Aerosmith song as good as aerosmith. This was disappointing
Yall should check mine out...I was closer...but this is still good
Guitar was totally out of tune.
Guitar is on the tune that Ben sings
Is it just me or did the whole first half of this song sound way out of tune? Ben's singing was flat the whole time whereas the guitars I swear were tuned a hair differently. Ugh, I like Breaking Benjamin too; I should've enjoyed this way more than I did.
yeah it sucks that he smokes. his live performance voice isn't as good as we all might have expected
Breaking Benjamin > Aerosmith
Best Aerosmith sing. Steven Tyler sang differently. Rest of their music is mostly garbage.
They're not even in tune. What a disgrace.
this is Aerosmith legendary song, BB is a baby band...
