- Ben Burnley of Breaking Benjamin performed a solo acoustic show at The House of Blues in Atlantic City, NJ on July 10th. Joining him onstage playing guitar and providing backup vocals was Aaron Bruch of Ourafter.
I feel like this song was meant to be acoustic.
Damn! That voice..
The fact that he can belt that out live like that and be spot on is amazing. Take it from an (Ex-Singer LOL) Emphasis on Ex-, I write novels now, but anyhow he has amazing talent and blows me away. ;-) Bruch is filling in rather well if I may say so. And now that he's fully a member i guess filling in are the wrong words.

Adrian you know who Aaron is because in Dark Before Dawn he joined the band (5 years after this performance) and got to be known by people like us, the fans. What If it wasn’t Aaron and just some guy playing with Ben on this show whom would not join the band in the future, would it still be “their” show or just Ben Burnley’s solo show.
It is amazing how much talent can be in one person. 50+ amazing songs, the only band ever where I like every single song, even the rare stuff. Incredibly creative writing.

Never stop believing in batter tomorrow. The happyness will come someday. For my happyness I was waiting about 4 years. When my brother died I was turning away from most everybody who cared about me. I have fallen into pieces. I was mad, angry, sad and falling into my loneliness. Hiding under a tuff girls mask and thinking it will last forever like that but I believed that someday I will learn to live with it. And then I met my husband. With my dreamed character of a men. The old me came back. Now I feel happy. Ive got cute two years old twin daughters and little boy in my belly. Im waking up with love of my life. Its been 7 years since my brother past away. I still miss him so much but that pain is much more peacefull. Time will heal our woonds and if it wont it will teach us to live with that sorrow. Always give yourself a time and remember never stop believing.
Trust me brother pulling 3 pounds of a 5 pound trigger under my chin made me realize my life isnt over yet. Ben is a very vivid echoed voice that rings to my soul. So believe me when i say this brother you are not alone.
Anthony Mcmuffin glad you’re still with us brother, I’m divorced, broke, no friends,(mostly) but I still enjoy life. Hope you’re doing okay 2 years later, I landed a good job & I have a son of my own, hope you’re hanging in there.

Breaking Benjamin is the best band I've heard live. The live performances are spot on! Glad I've had the chance to see them before they stopped making music.

I've seen breaking Benjamin Every time they've come to st.louis. I've heard them say they love the following there too... breaking Benjamin is Definitely one of my favorite bands. Every cd I can listen to front too back

Aaron Fink was their original guitarist. Mark Klepaski was the bassist I was referring to. I just thought it was Mark because they look similar. :)

Saw them live on the day of my graduation from UTC on May 2, 2015. They played right in my hometown of Chattanooga at Track 29. They were unreal! I felt so alive! Young Guns opened for them and they were great too

Forever and ever the SCARS will remain OR Forever and ever the STARS will remain. I've heard Ben sing it both ways, and all the lyrics I look up say "the SCARS will remain." I'm sooo confused. I'm pretty sure it's "scars" in the studio version, but I'm always second-guessing myself on this. Any of y'all feel this way about that line in the song??
Teddy Jones same. This time it sounded like stars. And when I first heard the studio version, I thought it was stars. But both ways make sense(especially because the first line is, "Dead stars shine") and they both sound lyrically beautiful!
For whoever asked. BreakingBenjamin got their name when ben used to open mic. He didnt have his own mic so one of the guys lent him his. After bens performance he did a nirvana move kicking the mic over. The mic cracked. The owner went on stage and said "id like to thank benjamin burnley for breaking my fucking mic

I am fully aware, just finnished school 2 days ago, the thing is, Wiki is a great place to find information, as long as you check your sources somewhere else afterwards. It's not the least reliable, but I'm fully aware of it being highly inacurate at times, never had any problems using it for school, other than it not being detailed enough. For looking up things for myself like that, it's usually accurate enough, to at least, back up someone's statements to a surthen degree. Thanks though :P.
Someone on another video posted that after the legal issues are settled, they will get back together. Don't know if it's true or not, but I know Chad (the drummer) was not fired from the band.Honestly, I prefer these acoustic shows. They let Ben's voice shine much more than in BB.

He acctually wrote this song sober though, but yeah, I completeley agree, all of which Burnley has composed is amazing. (If composed is the right word, lol.) I read 'bout what you said, though, and it was correct according to two sources, so thanks, acctually didn't know that. I probably got confused from it not being considered a drug by law (that it's legal.)
They are actually coming back soon. Their lawsuit was finished around april 20th or so.

@crazydave210 I dont think so, according to wikipedia as a quote from Ben, that he will continue his work with the band and find the neccassary replacements once the lawsuit against former guitarist Aaron Fink and former bassist Mark Klepaski, for the remake of "Blow Me Away" featuring Valora, stating they made unilateral and unauthorized decisions on behalf of the band........ So lets just hope that its finished with soon, because this is such an awesome band
