The fact that LG has thought enough about the camera experience to put manual focus peaking built in the app is why I haven't got the Galaxy S7 with a lifetime supply of storage(lol T-Mobile's deal right now of 256gb or VR headset) while waiting for LG to give us pricing and availability. This is the perfect phone for me. IR blaster FTW.
francob911 I couldn't agree with you more. If you care about a purely fun camera and audio experience then you get this phone. I have the V10 but they stepped it up enough to warrant an upgrade for me. Plus that wide angle lens too. Can't wait to make some videos with it.
I don't really mind the water resistance. Most phones can handle sprays or splashes, the water resistance via the ip certification is just to add submersibility. I'd rather have a drop resistant phone like the V20 than a glass backed water resistant galaxy.
Good tips. There is one more which I presume is available in LGV20 as it was on LGG3. This was the ability to change invidivual icons. So if you don't like the email button or phone icon, tap and hold down. Then go to edit mode. Prior to that Google for say phone icon, message icon etc and take a screenshot. Save it to the gallery. Now using the edit mode substitute the ones. Yes you can crop to fit the box. Please verify this can be done. Apologies if it can't, but it was a good old feature on LGG3, so I presume it's still there 😊

Its 2018 and I am watching this on one of the best Smartphones ever released, bought a nilkkn case, tempered glass and planning to buy some extra batta because i am planning to use my V for a long time. Sorry, most 2018 phones all look tbe same, lack removabe batt, An ir blaster, headphonejacks, the quad dac is great and that manual opion for tbe camera won me over well into 2018
Now i had a choice between v20 or s8. And i choose v20. Round edges r not good in my opinion. Removable battery is a keeper. I like the ability to have a few spare ones on the move. Ir blaster is a must. Second screen is nice option to have.

m sorry i didnt posted well..m saying its much bttr than note 7 and far far bttr than iphone7..note 7 still hav ram mgmt issues..where as u wont find any lag in v20..its ui is optimized perfectly..and its software is too useful now..also has 32bit Dac..
note 7 is better than v20 in terms of camera , battery and it also has spen which is very useful but performance wise both are almost same. V20 second screem is also very useful. The only reason why I am not going for note 7 is due to user complaints about overheating problems and explosion issues.

I love it! The camera is amazing. The 2 screens can be useful but half of the time i do not use it. Only thing I dont really like is the battery life. When i first got my phone it was alright. But after a while from 100% to about 50% it drains like crazy but tends to slow down & hold up after that. But i have 2 batteries that i swap in & out so while it is annoying, i dont mind it. I plan on getting the v20 only because it seems like its more amazing then the v10. But the v10 i think will still give it a run for its money. Thats why i decided to pass on the g5 (which was a huge disappointment) because i knew the v10 could hold out. Durability wise, im not for sure because i slapped an otter box case on it day 1 but i periodically take it off for a couple of hours & the phone does feel good but it doesnt have a good grip to me. Overall i love the phone & im gonna hate getting rid of it but hopefully the v20 will take its place nicely.

Eh, I think it looks good. We've had the same design for the and a half years from LG, though the G5 was ugly, I think the V20 takes everything that was good about the G5 and improved upon it. Plus, the V10 was pretty radical, and I'm sure LG wants to appeal to a broader audience with their new phones.
i disagree, this looks more premium and makes lgv10 look outdated. i really didnt like how cheap looking the back was from lg phones. coming from htc m8, im really excited to get this phone!
I like my V20 very much simply for the camera and the Hi-Fi Quad DAC features. But it isn't a rugged phone so I have to be very careful with it which is something I don't like. Most of my smartphone selections have been rugged phones that can handle being dropped, dunked, and rough housed without me having to worry about the screen shattering on me. This really is a great phone but the price to pay for it just for its features is ridiculous. I wouldn't mind the price if it were more resistant.

I only have the google pinwheel icon for their back up storage. I don't want to use that. Any suggestions please???
This phone is an underrated BEAST! Put in an aftermarket 6400mah battery and 126g Sd card with that Camera, hifi dac, and the rest it offers... Well done LG! Just shoulda marketed it better, but you can get one for 3-400 dollars now #BEAST

Well, I need a Lemon battery for sure but I had calculated that before buying it... 1 SINGLE hour was all it gave with just playing a game of Hebrew Tongue fireworks. Just silly with these modern mobiles and batteries - but at least one can get a Lemon battery. Or if one prefer another battery and charger for the V20. I think il prefer the Lemon battery giving it 3 times the power to my knowlegde - but I don't have the money to buy one at this moment. So that should give me around 3 hours of none stop gaming of Hebrew Fireworks game. "Can't remember the name but it has a lot of Graphic stuff going on with the fireworks and it's sucking the battery dry alright" ... Actually I'm not sure what level the light was on the screen, I think it was set to 100% when I did the experiment but the phone was on Fly mode. But it seems to me that ALL new phones have the issue of being drained to fast - not like the days of Snake but that was not in color with special effects in color! ;) Nice phone the V20 - I like it much better then my old Note 2 7105 which had many many issues that I never got to fix or find solutions for. Not perfect, but at least I'm so much more satisfied with this compared to the note 2. It irritates me that companies seems to lock there hardware always making it difficult for the user. I need Admin rights for some of my old programs which won't work without root. *Sigh* So one needs to use time for something that should just have a switch somewhere to turn on or be default in my view. Anyone knows if one can lock it when it shoots video? I had issues with my old one - stopping in the middle of a recording because one hit something on the screen so it stopped. Would be nice with a lock function to stop it from stopped the video one is shooting. The movie program in the V20 has a lock function when one is watching movies - so why not the Camera when it's recording? It takes around 1 hour and 20 minutes or something like that to charge to full. So, at the moment I'm charging it not a few times on a day... But iv just gotten it, and I'm still toying around with it a lot.
