I think the fact that you can make a list of aspects about the song kinda proves how simple it is, but simplicity doesnt make something bad.
It is simple, but very unique. And thats the hardest thing to do imo.
Anyone can go get a college education in music and make big sweeping generic orchestral music, but it takes a true talent to make something like this.
