Blue lock age discrepancy is insane. You have characters like barou at 18 and isagi at 17 then you have niko at 15 ( naruhuya from team z is also 15 and is also the youngest in the whole facility). It’s not fair for 15 who are at the beginning of their growth to face 18 years old who went through a whole phase of puberty
I mean, in Latin America younger kids than that play with older kids than that It's part of the environment, playing against someone stronger or faster, is part of what ego wants after all There is an unfair advantage not gonna lie, but niko and naruhaya survive till de end of the 1rst selection

The average 17,18 year old will stay in blue lock and have more time than a more talented 15 years old just because of age
This is no different from high school sports in the US, which actually has a bigger gap, since Japan high school is only 3 years while US high school is 4 years. A talented high school freshman at 14 could be playing varsity sports with a high school senior at 18.
You saying "Luck is when preparation meets opportunity" is so funny because they explain it the same way near the end of the season. Try to remember that when you get near the end.

Honestly, I believe Run With The Wind gives Haikyuu a run for its money when it comes to characters and their story arcs, sometimes even better. I know you won’t be disappointed with it Lachy
Blue Lock season 1 had good animation, but never really top tier, but PNG Lock season 2 was pretty jarring. At least, the last few episodes have been decent.

Not gonna lie, it is a good feeling when you personally crush your opponent's best player. Sounds cruel and evil but I feel like that is the path to the be the best. I do only have these feelings playing casually though, hopefully I get to go a tournament and experience this feeling then, I feel like it will be way better. Also the drawing is based on 2018 Messi when he dyed his hair, but it is a breath of fresh air seeing a Real Madrid fan saying Messi is the best. He really is the goat after seeing what is happening to Barcelona now.
