I'm still LOVING my V60. It's my main phone. Don't need another. Only problem is sometimes the music player crashes when I'm outside running. I have no idea why. It's really annoying.
Use a third party player like Musicolet and see if you still have the same issue. It might be the stock music app is incompatible with a certain software update
@@brianbadonde9251 I use Poweramp and Black player because they give me the best quality audio. I'm really an audiophile. However, both of them crash and it only happens when I'm outside exercising. I can listen to music inside or while driving with no problem, but when I'm outside moving around they crash. It's so weird. I've tried some measures I've read online from people who experience the same problem but nothing worked. It's so frustrating because I love the phone and don't want to change it as yet. I have Android 13 btw.
@@brianbadonde9251 second time I'm sending this. UA-cam keeps deleting my comments for some reason. I used Poweramp and Black player and they both crash. I've read that it may be due to an update and some say to turn off the quad DAC but that's the reason I bought the phone. I'm an audiophile. I really love the phone but this is such a frustrating problem.
The old LG V series phones were beasts. I had the old V20 and loved the good cameras, big screen, replaceable battery/SD card, quad-dac, and mil-spec toughness. Unfortunately no more updates or 5G bands. It's just too outdated for a daily driver. My old V20 sits in a drawer, but I should reuse it for something...
I prefer using my v20 for listening to music in my cst via 3.5 aux cable from headphone jack. From my experience it sounds better than using the bluetooth on my car. I get internet connection on the go from hotspotting my daily to v20
Please, brother, tell me what to choose. I am very confused between the Motorola Edge Plus and the LG V60. I need a phone that can handle hard work in all areas of use. So, what should I choose from your experience and expertise?
Replaced this phone with pixel 7 last year, brinked my pixel 7. Came back to this phone. The only thing bad about this phone is the operating system. I missed a few tools from the newer andriod. Other than that, not much downside except maybe the camera is slightly worse.
Just got this a few days ago after saying goodbye to my Note 4. Paid $200 case included. While I do love it I wish it had a stylus LG was so close lol. Yeah you can buy one but they require batteries or charging.
Im looking the buy abother ine. Mine got dripped while lainting ny house abd shattered the back then it quit charging. Ive been sick over it as j blught it brand new. Abd it was perfect but learned a good lesson about making sure it's secured in its case so im looking for a decent deal on another one as in warch this. Its frustrating. Because i really need a fairly reasonably priced LG with 5G. I used Quick Memos as my journal so a lot of important stuff to me are in there. I have a stylo five. But its screen is shattered. Lol My cats and i are hell on my cell phones. Hiping ti fubd a decent 5G phine regardless of the model.
I have a US V60 in the UK unfortunately I can't get the software updates in the UK as this phone was never released here, so I'm stuck on Android 10 and this is starting to be an issue, noticing some compatibility issues with some apps, just hanging or not connecting to the internet when other apps are working fine. Also my employer was allowing me to access emails and office on my phone but this year they locked me out because they now require Android 11 or later, so having to carry my work phone everywhere in addition which is a pain especially as it's a rubbish phone compared to the V60. I love the V60 for all the reasons you sited in your video, I was so gutted when LG pulled out. I may try and buy another V60 from the US that has Android 13.
The phone has tupe c port problem which it cannot accept most charging cable and charger. Also Even you have good charger and cable, there is another problem - fast charging but not fast. Around 3 hours with fast charge. I bought this phone 4 days ago. But I know what problem is with LG V60. However, another all features for me it is enough. Battery is just better than Samsung note 10 plus. Maybe If I change the battery to new, It will be perfect
I still have my LG V60 and no, I will never get rid of it. Even though I have a Samsung S24 Ultra, I keep coming back to the V60. I just love having the headphone jack with the quad DAC and the SD card slot. My only criticism of the device would be the mics, they're not the greatest I have heard compared to my other devices. Even if I record with an external mic or source the sound isn't as full compared to let's say a Samsung S10. Still, long live the V60 ❤
It does have 4 mics, but even if I connect via the headphone jack mic input the sound is a little thin, with not as much bass as using the Galaxy S10 headphone jack mic input which has a more fuller sound. Basically even if you bypass the mics in recording the sound on the V60 has less bass overall than the Galaxy S10 for example.
@@manuelgarciajr5308 that's what bro, well obviously it won't sound as good as a professional microphone but it's much better compared to any other phone I've used. This phone could pick up my voice even when I'm across the room .
The only issues with this phone is the USB-C connector which is fragile. LG was infamous for this since i used to own a V20. Both phones are fantastic for media playing and sound quality. However the camera just isn't good enough to catch crystal clear moon or stars in the night time sky. Daytime or brightly lit sky? PERFECT!
Sd cards are slow and less secure compared to internal storage which is why phone have moved away from it. Headphone jacks are not coming back on flagship phones even on midrange there disappearing. We continue to move to wireless only future. The outdate cellular technology not supporting c band which is big omission. Just a few of reasons why not buy this phone including lack of updates which include bug fixes not just security updates so if you have software problems, they never will get fix.
Hmmm.. not everyone cares about having the most recent updates as long as the phone does what they need it to do. And SD cards being less secure than internal storage is bs. considering people have been using them for years without any issues lol.
