This was the best DAS usage video I've found! Thanks! Tips for using DAS to ride the most popular rides and how you attempt to get those rides that don't take DAS would be great!
I am so glad you found my video helpful! Thank you for watching. We can definitely do a video about how to use DAS to ride the most popular rides. Thanks for the idea. Keep watching. We’ll do that video soon!
Did you watch the Ferry Boat vs Monorail video and see that you won the drawing? I just wanted to make sure you knew so that you could claim you prize! Congrats.
Thank you for your video so much help for us

Thank you so much for this informative video! I've been looking for something like this to help my mom prepare for our trip. I feel silly for not understanding this, but what do we scan at the ride? Is it the ticket barcode or is it a special one-time barcode made for that DAS selection? We'll be at Disneyland with no magic bands, so just our phones. I was planning on laminating each person's ticket barcode for easy scanning into the park (so I don't have to scroll through each ticket on my phone) but not sure if that will work for scanning into DAS selections. Thanks!
Thanks for watching my video! I’m so glad you found it helpful. Each ride will have a circular scanner that allows you to tap you ticket, magic band, or phone app (if your ticket is connected and pulled up on the My Disney Experience app). Some rides will have more than one scan point to prevent line jumping from the stand by line. It’s super easy and doesn’t require precision. I made a video that I think you may find helpful about maximizing and using your DAS pass. I’ll link it below. Please subscribe!

Hello, I just signed up for the das pass for my son. I’m going to Disneyland in two weeks. Question. I don’t see the das pass In my account. Do you only
See it when you’re physically
At the park.? Thanks your videos is very informative ❤
You do have to be scanned into the park for the DAS pass to show up. Even though our pass is good for 90 days and always on our account, it only shows in the app when we are actively scanned into the park. Sometimes there is a glitch and you have to log out and back in to get it to show up after signing into a park. This is rare though. Thank you so much for watching my videos! It made my day that you found them helpful. If I ask you nicely will you please subscribe to my channel. Thanks!
Thank you for this informative video! Does the DAS icon appear on the guests phone, too, or only for the person that applied for DAS? And if the balloons appear on a reserved ride, does that cancel that reservation, or do you have to use it on any other ride before booking another pass?
I’m so glad that you found my video help! The balloons means that you’ve been given an anytime pass. That means you want up to any ride you want to ride, scan, and go in without having to make a DAS comeback time. There are a few expeditions for example it can’t be used on tower of terror. But 99.9% of rides can use the anytime one time pass. The balloon pass is issued when they have to cancel your original DAS reservation time due to the ride going down and an issue on their side. You don’t have to use it on the ride you initially had a pass. It can go towards a different ride if you want. Also, you asked about the DAS pass itself. It will show up on the person’s account who initially was issued the pass (ie a minor’s parent’s app or the individual) however more than one person can have the same account account logged into their app. So, my kid’s father and I both have my account logged into our apps. This was we can both make DAS comeback times even if we aren’t in the same place. That being said, once the DAS comeback time is scheduled, the comeback time will be attached to everyone linked to the pass and each person will use their own band or ticket from their account to scan into the lightning lane at the DAS comeback time. Does that make sense. Remember you can use the chat in the app (or call disability services) to make two DAS comeback times before you ever get to the park and additional ones once you get there.
@@adventurousadvocates Thank you, there's so much to learn.
Great video! Thank you. I have always used the Dass pass in the past, but this is my 1st time going since they instituted Genie+. Before you could get Dass pass for any ride at any park. Has that changed? I just got the dass pass today with the cast member for my trip in Nov. I was told it's only good for 60 days and doesn't apply to all attractions. Can you still use Dass at the parks for Ratatouille, Guardians, expedition everest, etc?
It makes my day that you liked my video. Thank you so much for watching. The DAS will work on anything that also has a Genie+ or standby line (so almost everything). It wont work on rides like Guardians of the Galaxy because they’re currently virtual queues only. It’s one of a select few. Ratatouille, Mine Train, etc all work on the DAS system. I hope this helps! If I ask you nicely will you please subscribe.
Hi! Did you find the return times to be really late or average the normal wait times? Example if trying for mickeys at 9, was the return time around 9-10 or 3pm
The DAS return time is based on current wait times. For example, if you wanted to ride Small World and the current wait time was 20 minutes. The app would offer you a comeback time that is in 20 minutes. So, if it was currently 3pm then you could go to Small World and check in at the disability entrance at 3:20pm. It’s also important to remember you can come back any time after that time and they’ll still honor your DAS reservation. I hope that answers your question. Thank you for watching. I hope you have a great day.
does the DAS button only show up on the app when you are in the park? Mine says transportation where DAS should be. My son already had DAS attached to our account. I see reservation he made already. He was allowed to make two future reservations.
When you scan into the park, your DAS pass should show on your app. You won’t be able to see it at home or outside the park. You will be able to make two advance DAS reservations via the chat function or phone and an additional DAS reservation when you can into the park. Remember that once you scan into a ride, you can immediately make a new DAS comeback time. I hope that info helps. If I ask you nicely will you please subscribe.
Can you use DAS for Individual Lighting Lane Rides?
If you have a DAS pass, you don’t need to pay to use the lighting lanes. All you have to do is get a comeback time (from the app or the cast member at the ride entry point). When it’s time to ride, you go in through the lightning lane entrance. Once you’ve scanned in for that ride you can immediately get a comeback time for a new ride. Let me know if you have any more questions. Thanks for watching my video and leaving a comment. Please subscribe.
Does the das only show up on app after you register,??
Yes. You have to go by guest services and allow them to register you for the DAS pass. Then it’ll be good for 90 days and show up in your app. After 90 days you can renew at guest services. Thanks for watching my video! Please subscribe to my channel
I’m going next week and registered online. Does that das icon not show up on the app until you check in?
