Where did you get the almost perfectly matching wood stand?

Did you get a chance to see how the HEKse scales on this amp? And how it compares to the Susvara when both are hooked up to an amp of this caliber? 😀

I haven't listened to the HEKse too long with this amp, so it's hard to evaluate it that way. You can be sure it will squeeze out 110% of HEKse's performance! :)

The comment was made by Matthew. Paweł here now. Yes Ive used both with the ENVY and the 1000se scales great with it, but it surely doesnt need that amp. Its an efficient headphone and the ENVY is overkill.
However, the Susvara is a completely different story, and when plugged into the ENVY it just absolutely sings. Easily beating the 1000se then.
      Hope that helps mate :)

Did you have a chance to compare this one vs the Woo Audio WA23 Luna or WA33 EE?

It has balanced inputs and balanced outputs, but it is NOT a balanced amplifier.

Yes, the amplifying stage is single ended, but the transformer's output is always balanced.

@@EarFidelity Maybe, but the whole point of being balanced is to cut noise in half by doubling up the amplifying stage!

Point of being balanced is to increase CMRR (Common Mode Rejection Ratio) on the inputs, and to increase power on the output.
Balanced circuits have double the noise of similar SE circuit.

@EarFidelity Then why would anyone ever run an amplifier balanced?
