Ali Kazma, born in 1971, is a Turkish video artist who in the past few year has been developing a work to explore the human activities related to the production, creation and maintenance, including craftsmanship, small businesses and large assembly.
The result of this research is "Obstructions", a series of 15 video works, among which "Household Good Factory" made after an art residence of Kazma at Alessi.
Ali Kazma, classe 1971, è un video artista turco che da alcuni anni sta sviluppando un lavoro volto a esplorare le attività umane legate alla produzione, creazione e manutenzione, tra artigianalità, piccola industria e grandi catene di montaggio.
È nata così "Obstructions", una serie di 15 opere video, fra cui "Household Good Factory" realizzata in seguito a una residenza artistica di Kazma in Alessi.
