I've enjoyed your isaac stuff and your resent calamity remix too so much, keep doing good work. This is coming from someone who has been playing both games for thousands of hours.
Fun fact: This song was written & composed by mudeth, (presumably a freelance musician) and featured in an album for a fan-made mod called Antibirth (made for Rebirth but worked with Afterbirth/Afterbirth+ at the time), which was developed by primarily 3 passionate fans. Antibirth was so well made and fit extremely well into the atmosphere of the game that not only was it praised by the community for being one of the best mods at the time, but the mod team was approached by the developers of TBoI to port most of the content to the official game in the form of DLC, aka Repentance. So, not only did a team of three fans make such a banger mod, mudeth made a soundtrack so atmospherically identical to the base material that the developers of Isaac wanted it in their own game. New/unused content is STILL being added by the mod team alongside the actual devs. They got hired by the developers of the game they made a mod for. Crazy stuff man.
Man, what were the developers smoking when they made this game xD
Whatever it is, it made an absolute banger of a game

Childhood Trauma is one hell of a fountain for inspiration.
