Object:
The object is the part of the sentence that receives the action performed by the subject. It answers the question "Whom?" or "What?" is being acted upon in the sentence. There are two types of objects:
a. Direct Object: The direct object is the noun, pronoun, or noun phrase that directly receives the action of the verb.
