I took the original pump of of the original tank, and used JBWELD to close up a hole then used it as an external inline pump. I kept all the original wiring where possible, and extended and shortened wires where possible.. I might try to wire up a speeduino at some point but it is working well with the OEM ecu.
Thanks mate, I've told my wife it will take about 10 episodes, but you you'd be surprised how much filming slows things down. Hopefully I'll have the next episode uploaded this weekend.
I changed it for the one linked in the description, but that pump only lasted about 2 hours of riding. So now I've taken the stock pump out of the tank and used JB weld to fix a pipe to the low pressure end and block a hole. You need quite a high pressure pump i believe the pressure regulator works at 5.7bars.

Not the reaction I was hoping for. It's going to change a lot in the next couple of episodes. The new rear fender goes next episode. then seat and fuel tank position are being finalised.
Hi pepshmeyer, I'm sorry you feel that I'm ruining the bike. I'm putting my mark on the bike making it lighter and making it mine. I hope you watch the rest of the series, I've made some changes to the work I've done in this episode. The next episode the bike is almost completed.
@@garagemade4422 never understood why you, customizers use old bikes that are hard to get. Why not take modetn ones that is still in production. I wanted to buy a k100 in my country, but all I saw were remaked into coffin racers
I'm modifying this bike because it's the bike I have. It needed a lot of work and money to get it back to the condition it was once. The cost to repair the ABS alone was going to be more than the bike is worth; not to mention the problems with the fuel tank and fuel system. I wish i had the means to get the bike back to its former state. I think that many bikes end up dying if someone like me doesn't customise it.
How you put fuel pump in the tank? And all wirings? You are planning motogadget unit?
