@@readkauppinen1814taking the straps down isn’t cocky. You’ve earned it if you won. The idea you need your singlet to stay on until you shook your opposing coaches hand literally makes no logical sense. It’s like hearing old heads complain about bat flips in baseball. You’ve just been physically dominated in front of the world by another man. Why are you worried about how he wears his singlet? There are bigger issues. Austin and you should be more worried about winning then the position of your opponents singlet straps. Btw all the greatest Russian wrestlers took the straps down immediately even tho the straps were shoestrings in the first place.

Prolly try a low single off the whistle cause he puts weight on his lead foot and brings his hands up to tie. Then I’d get pinned about 5 seconds later.

This is legit a hard question. He was a hard puzzle to figure out. Especially when he got that grip on you in those collar ties. Basically, i would just decide if i wanted to get thrown by or fireman's carried to oblivion lol watching grown ass men not be able to get Auston grip off their bicep was wild to watch. And their faces when they felt him and spemcers grip strength was funny af lol wish he didnt have the antics, but thats what you get when you have a passionate competitor coached by trash coaches his whole life. Until he got to iowa, it was just trash coach after trash coach for him. Im not saying Austin is not to blame, hes responsible for his actions, but he shouldve been taught in Jr fuckin High how to channel that aggression and passion better. And anyone who disagrees with that just WANTS to hate Austin. I love the kids passion and i hope he gets himself a medal someday

That’s a mistake you never step away from a collar tie. Instead step into it and control the elbow and go for an elbow pass or control the wrist with the opposite side hand and go for a 2 on 1, you can also just swim your hand under.

Well it seems his first move off the whistle literally 100% of the time is a collar tie with his left hand. Knowing this I'm either gonna post high crotch, arm drag or super duck that side when he reaches. Not saying I'll be able to finish but knowing this information that's what I'm going for.
