Good review. I’ve been watching a few of these types of videos lately because I’m traveling from Heathrow to LAX in club suites with 9 other family members at the end of June. It’s a trip we’ve done a few times before but this will be the first time in the new suite. On the face of it, it looks like a definite improvement however most of the videos I’ve seen go on about how private & isolated they are which is all very well if you’re a solo traveler but a whole different experience if your traveling with family or friends. The old club seats as far as I can tell are much more sociable & definitely better when travelling with kids, upstairs on the 747 was fantastic in this respect & you could mingle a bit with others using the fold down foot rest as a makeshift stool (being considerate to others of course) it was brilliant & part of the holiday. The middle 4 yin yang seats on the lower deck were also great for small families. Hopefully my concerns are unfounded but I suspect not.
I think the old school Club World is better if you want to be closer to someone else or a group but in every other way Club Suites is better. I might be biased as a solo traveller but I'd take Club Suites any day.
That pricing is crazy - sounds like a fully flex fare. I flew LHR-LAX return in AA business outbound and BA business inbound for £1.7k about a year ago.
Better than emirates where they offer a enclosed suite with a door and direct aisle access access unlike emirates which has BA’s premium economy layout in Business!
@@FlyManYann fortunate or unfortunate my flight was cancelled due to crew shortages and they put us one the new aircraft. Managed to sit in the seat 2 days after…. However even sitting one the seat for over 4 hours a technical fault on a piece of equipment meant i never got to experience the whole service. Ended up cancelling and booking Emirates otherwise i would have lost half my holiday with reschedule flights
The hard product is such an improvement over the old Club World seat. I've had good meals in Club World before - this video was recorded while they were still doing reduced cartering. I'll make another video at some point now it's returned to normal to see what's improved. Ticket was 60k Avios one way plus taxes (peak date).
I mentioned in the video this was filmed during those times! Club World is back to regular meal service now with each course served separately. I'll make another video at some point so I can do a fair review of the current service.
@@FlyManYann Just out of interest the social media channels seem very busy with lots of reviews on BA and its products which begs the question are these reviews sponsored by BA in return for the return flight ? Business Class and First Class seats don't come cheap especially when it's purely for a review and the subscriber numbers we see are way off YT funding. Take that with the ages of the individuals doing these reviews it's not unreasonable to 'smell a rat' and question the transparency. Its also coincidental. that the timing is also close to a product re-launch or in response to a competitors product upgrade.
These videos are not sponsored! I paid 60k Avios (one-way, peak) and £500 or so in taxes for this flight. Hopefully one day I can get enough from UA-cam ads to fund my flights but for now it is all self-funded and flights I'd be taking anyway!

Love it. Straight to the point. ''Job's a good 'un.''
Cheers! I'll make another one showing the full meal service next time I fly Club Suites.
Great video! Subscribed and looking forward to more content 🙌🏽
Cheers man! Deep into the next edit as we speak 😤
Out to Chicago we got the club suites, on the way back it was the old ying yang on the A380.
Had an LAX-LHR flight swapped out from suites to the old seat - can't wait for the fleet refit to be completed.
Thank you for your video. Subscribed.
Thanks! I'm working on a BA First video now, that'll be next up.
Good review. The BA pricing is crazy for Club though. LHR - LAX is around £8k which is batty money for BA.

Looks cool!
Thanks! I've got a BA First video coming soon too so you can see the difference
How are you funding the flights. Points or cash. The points story is often an interesting addition to the videos.
Depends on the flight but this was a one way peak redemption for 60k Avios. Good shout though, I'll include this in new videos.

Emirates business on their A380 is fine, but the 2-3-2 layout on their 777s is crazy, especially if you end up in that middle seat!
I am getting the chance with BA105 later this month. Shame thats on the old style seat
That's a shame, they usually fly Club Suites on the DXB route... Can never be guaranteed until the entire fleet is refit unfortunately

Hard product looks very good, but the soft product and slop they call food is shocking. How much did you pay for your ticket?

I thought there are one tray club world meal no more after Covid restricted… so bad !!

To Cairo and Dubai club suites. Lagos hostel type
Cairo has the Club Europe seating!
If you were in Dubai did you stay at Atlantis
Nope I stayed at the new Hilton Palm Jumeirah on the inaugural opening night
Was this BA0109?
Yep that's the one, the BA109 overnight service
Good review apart from the music and the volume was way to high
Thanks - and appreciate the feedback, will lower it in future vids!
