B/c these are very enjoyable to watch, quick and no flaws. It’s not reality 100%. The phone calls, the shops, going back and fourth cause you forgot something, the lifting. Etc etc you know. These are little breaths of fresh air. I enjoy them also
Love that you change the gas valve. Apprentice plumber in Arkansas and most plumbers don't actually change them out if they look like a (newer) style valve
I won't change them out if they are old and work haha but to each their own! If it's part of their agreement then that's that! Replum makes me look forward to work tomorrow.
They wear out over time, and will spectacularly fail without warning, flooding your garage or utility room with dozens of gallons of hot water, and then hundreds or thousands of gallons of cold water, until you discover the failure.
I'll never understand why so called professional plumbers lay water heaters down on their side when you know there is a dip tube and anode rod and a flu laying horizontally when you do that that could cause them to break snap or deform. It even says on the box do not lay down!
No expansion tank, TPR discharge pipe has no air gap and the termination is not visible. The catch pan has a drain pipe installed that appears to spill onto the floor so why even have a drain pan? If a customer insists that you install to satisfy building codes, do you go back and make it right or do you tell them "that's how we always install them"
yes sure why treat for mold the place under the new heater, since is not YOUR PLACE, and you charge the customer everything plus your fee that includes your profit obviously
Why do you call it a hot water heater if the water that is in there is cold and gets heated to desired temperature if anything it should be called cold water heater😂🤦
I do not know why after 40 years of doing plumbing I enjoy watching somebody else do it but I do. Nice job.
To hone in on the craft. Sometimes there’s something I’ll pick up from others and implement it in my jobs

HEY BOY! Bout time you picked up that water heater like a Man and not some soft handed sunflower 🌻👈💨😆
Good touch with the card. Might try taping it to the side of the WH with packing tape
If you already have hot water, why do you need a heater?😂😂😂

Nothing fills me with fear like seeing my exact tank getting hauled out... lol. Just keep on flushing, flushing...
You remove the gas line handle for safety?
ive watched a ton of these on this channel, so it seems the gas fittings dont have to be super tight so as not to leak.. correct?
Awsome 🎉
How much change the water heater ?
Why are a lot of boilers on a pedestal? Here in illinois they sit on the ground.
Where do you buy that auto adjustable wrench?
I'm curious why is it elevated on a box?
Eh boi, where’s the voice overs, that’s what makes these videos extra good.
just replaced the magnesium anode in mine...15. bucks compared to 1000 to change whole unit... thanks
Why no heat pump water heaters? Assuming because its already plumed for gas?
Its the weekend bud grab yourself some silvers.
Loool... I thought I was the only one who used a Sawzall to open the packaging boxes 😂
What pliers are those I need them
A business card with your pic is such a power move
Why😂
Raised lettering with eggshell white color. Total power move
Does the santeria shrine cost extra? A few candles would be dope too. Asking for a frend
Please drop a link on those hand tools. Love tem pliers! Errrr....
Nother damn fine job from motherfuckers plumbing co!
I don’t know what’s happening but I like it
Where is this, California?
Honest question here. Is that bend on the gas flex line beyond its approved limit?
😂
Ничего себе он опасный парень! Сабельной пилой открывать коробку с бойлером!!!)))
Where are you located at
Hey boy! Back in the day we didn’t have to cut the box with a fancy sawsall. We ripped it in half with our manly MAN hands.
A top side PRV? Is that common?
For Bradford yes
Wer dis u get those pliers
Handsome photo
You make it look so easy when I had it done it took them forever and how do you know whether you need an expansion tank or not?
If it’s a closed system it needs one. So if there is a check valve or prv
Earth quack harnesses?? Where you out of bud? Great job btw!
We have to expansion tanks on all installs
Not needed for this install, theres a pressure tank already there for the water source.
@@MisterTwister88as long as there’s no check valves preventing backflow.
@@ladsin11 There isn’t
@@MisterTwister88 but what about the check valve that’s in supply side of tank? Dosent that isolate you from that tank?
@@MiltJohnson-sw9lc Since the check is on the inlet side, it allows expansion back into the tank through the outlet side.
Here I thought you need to keep the water heater upright. Maybe older ones because they were glass lined?
Errrr back in ma day we used box cutters boy !
Strong as you R I see Y you don't need a helper or dolly
Sediment trap should be at the gas’s valve not down on the stop. Other than that good job
False
@@replumb I understand that is not how ipc reads but in most of my local jurisdictions it will fail an inspection for that.
Why would you heat hot water?
Doesn’t it heat cold water ? So wouldn’t it just be a water heater?
I've seen some truly frightening plumbing. This is nothing.

Expansion tank please

Should have just taped the card to the tank.
