It's too fast. That's not andante, it's allegretto. It should be more like 72 or 63. Think of how the singer has to move wind, and leave room for breathing.

I disagree - this tempo is perfect, especially for young singers. This is one of the few accompaniments that allows for breath.

nope. this is perfect if not even on the verge of being slow. if it was slower it would be even harder to conserve breath
i performed this piece for competition about this speed. as the singer moving wind, it’s a good tempo. it’s about the same as what i performed.
