I dated a girl for two years in high school and both of us went through depression and mental health issues that put stress on the relationship. I had a surgery that put me on my back for 3 months and that was really hard too, eventually things just fell apart. Near the end of my senior year I broke up with her and it was the hardest thing I ever had to do. I never stopped loving her but we both moved on. A few months ago I dropped out of college and was at a party in my hometown and she was there. We smoked together and talked like we hadn’t done in almost a year and it just felt right. We saw each other again a week later and kissed and we started talking again. We’re back together now and we’ve both grown up and gotten stronger from the past. Our relationship now is better than it ever was before, and hearing this song makes me cry because I used to listen to it when we were broken up. Love is crazy sometimes
