I doubt you could avoid hearing a song off of Starboy or a track from Drake as a avid listener of music. but the trend of more focussed listeners, that know what they want is inarguable once you look at the upbringing of lo fi rap, xxxtenaction and other sub genres that have become big over the past few years, only comprised of a group of smaller artists leading that genre.
