I'm just simply, genuinely so happy to be getting these doses of Lilly, just like before. One Vlog a day, enough for me to get through the day. Like small packets of motivation. I missed her.

DEFINITELY talk to a doctor, but I know that in general there are different types of contraceptives that allow you skip periods altogether, and a lot of doctors can recommend various methods for people who have intense period cycles. I'm definitely not an expert on it, and it will definitely require some research, but there ARE safe ways of doing it as long as you talk to a doctor (and it'll most likely be in the form of contraceptives)
second this; according to my ob/gyn professor, periods are not something you have to have each month. i'm not a doctor (just a med student) but a good option to look into might be oral contraceptive pills. there are some risks and contraindications to taking them, so discuss them with your doctor to make sure you don't have the risk factors that predispose you to the really bad side effects. also some pills will still give you a "period" because they have a placebo week with no drug effects (the reason is because some people like to have a period happen to confirm that they're not pregnant). but other versions of the pills won't have that placebo week and you shouldn't have periods. and just to second OP, contraceptives aren't just for preventing pregnancy, they're also for people who have unbearable periods or people who just don't want them period (pun not intended)
long story short, talk with an ob/gyn and ask specific questions about contraception.
@@cgarcia1009 ahh, yes, thank you! I have an interest in pre-med, but am only in undergrad right now so thank you for explaining in depth! 💕
There are also injections you can do (3 month Intervall)

@lilly, check out LARCs, long-term contraceptives. Not pharmacist or MD, but done a lot of pharmacology and toxicology research. LARCs is constraceptive but also makes your period quarterly or yearly.
Research also shows long-term use of LARCs reduces the risk of heart conditions, hypertension and clotting when reaching menopause. Search up for mayo clinic or John Hopkins articles on this.
Lilly is on of the most inspirational people I have ever met and I can speak for most that we would be honoured to be half as good as she is. Thank you for being you and inspiring me to be better and humble every dam day.👏😁👍❤️

Lilly I love you so much. I am a huge fan really. thank you for always being you . You inspire me to be me and act like myself thank you.
I'm on Depo Provera, the birth control shot, I take it every 3 months, no period. I haven't had one for around a year now
I’m on it too! I just started back in September to help my menstrual migraines and to stop my period bc I’m not cis. I hope it starts working soon tho I’m on day 24 of my period 😌
There is a pill. It's kinda like a birth control pill. It's supposed to make you only get your period once every 3 months, or something like that. That's my only suggestion to prevent a period. Also Taylor must be so uncomfortable editing this and having to hear you talk about your period. Aha.
I literally left Tik Tok when I got the notification 😹😹😹
Some other people have said this in the comments already, but I take oral birth control all month long (so year round then too) so I don't get my cycle. I've been doing it for about 4 years so far, and I have had no adverse reactions, and I have also had doctors tell me that there is no real reason you need to have your period each month, so as far as they know, it is okay to do this. I started on birth control because my anxiety is partly hormone related, so it was a necessity for me to stop it (in my eyes, so I didn't have to go on a prescription anxiety medication, and that's just something I didn't want to do). I hope you will be able to find something that works for you!
Here so early !!! We need season 2 Lilly love you lots ❤️
So happy you are getting a break!
ua-cam.com/video/hcNOS5DhHvE/v-deo.html
Early❤️❤️❤️❤️
I took constant birth control pills for years to not have a period. Til I got sick of it and the period issues and had a hysterectomy. Unless you’re trying to get pregnant you don’t need to have a period- pills, shots, implants, IUD whatever works for you.
" Let Me Wake Up My Gratitude" omfg 😍😍😍
Your vlogmas makes me so happy, Lilly❤️✨
Not getting period pharmacist and don't get my period mostly. This is not medical advice please talk to your doctor about your medical condition before making a decision. There is no medical reason to have a period unless you are trying to get pregnant. There are pills that limit to a few times a minth or inj iuds or implants. They vary so talk to your doctor.
Hello! I'm a medical student (I'm in my 6th and last year of my degree) and concerning the period question, there are actually a lot of good options! Obviously, everyone is different so in picking which contraceptive you want, you have to keep in mind your preferences, your lifestyle and also, and very important, your medical background. My advice to you is to talk to your gynecologist, say you want to not have periods anymore and talk about which option is the best for you. Some of the good and safe options are oral contraceptives, IUDs, subcutaneous implants, etc.
Well I feel like you were yourself in season but I’m sure once I watch it I’ll still feel a more ✨positive ✨ change in season 2 love u Lilly

Sweetie. Let me first say that this is the first time I’ve ever commented on a video. I literally follow 5 people on UA-cam and you’re one of them. (I’m old AF, at 33). Girl, get an IUD - Preferably Mirena. You won’t have to deal with that ish anymore. Word to the wise. Love ya

I can't state enough how much I appreciate that you are so honest about how you're doing in these vlogs. It's a welcome reminder that it's not realistic for every day to be perfect and it is OKAY for not every day to be good and perfect. As someone who lives with depression and anxiety, your vlogs remind me that I have to take things one day at a time and take a second to let go of what I can't control. It really means the world to hear someone I look up to be open and honest about mental health, especially when I understand and know all too well so many of the things you talk about.
Lilly I have exams tomorrow but I’d rather watch this

Basically it's Birth Control Roulette with getting rid of periods. Some people don't have complications but some people can develop menopausal symptoms after stopping their periods. Do some research on the side effects before you start taking anything!
Mirena IUS (intrauterine system) - it's birth control and stops your period, and is good for 5 years. It's an IUD that releases progesterone to your uterine environment and prevents the build-up of your uterine lining. I've had 3 now (changed every 5 years) and I personally highly recommend them. This may be TMI, but you asked for ideas - here is mine. Best wishes!
5:30 anty ji hello was pure desi
Stopping your period altogether may not be the best for your health/body. But if you get on birth control (oral contraceptives) pills it would reduce the intensity of your period, regularise them and make them less painful. It's used very often in people who want to reduce the intensity of their periods. 💕

Hormonal IUD's stop your period from happening
LILLY SINGH A VIBEY VIBE.
Sending you all the positive vibes and virtual hugs @lilly ... Your vlogs are just motivation pills for me everyday . It's already day 16 I can't believe it🥺🥺🥺
I am a doctor... but in physics! hahaha But about the period, I have a friend that has a hormonal IUD. It is a "thing" (that is the medical word) that they put inside your uterus and liberates a constant amount of hormones that acts as a contraceptive, and as a result your period pretty much stops. It has to be changed in a few years and it is not permanent, you can pull it off anytime (by a doctor, but a medical one, not like me xDDDD). Maybe you can visit a gynecologist
, I'm sure they'll inform you very well :)
Been telling you, you gotta try "Running the Red Light", Mami - 2:55 That makeup lady is really talented...
Wait I'm kinda early
HAI LILLY ILYSM!!
Your so pretty
I am totally confused that you are Canadian or Indian??
I want answers @LillySingh
She's Canadian, her parents are Indian ☺
She is a global citizen. 🙃🙃
Definitely safe methods of contraception that can help tamp down and even stop periods (depends on your body)! IUDs, OCPs, Nexplanon...you should talk to your OB/GYN to get specific medical advice with regards to this! (Coming from a third year medical student-not medical advice bc only your doctor can give that lol)
I have an IUD and I get my period twice a year. For like a day each time. An hour of light cramps and a bit of spotting. Before even on the pill it was a week long ordeal every month, so much so that I used to pass out from the pain
Laughing in summer coz we live in South Africa and it's not cold😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂but it rains a lot
OMG Lilly! Your mum is going to scream at you when you said you wont get pregnant
Lmao she will! my thoughts exactly
Hi guyss
IUD with hormones might help? Some women still get a light period and others have non at all left. Can last for about 5 years.. I have a copper IUD (hormone free) that lasts for 10 years (T-safe), so I still get my periods but it kind of feels like having a check every month that it still works properly or something 😅. A few friends of mine have had a IUD with hormones, they're happy with it 🤷♀️
Just talk to your gynecologist / ob-gyn about it, they'll know what to do.
Hey Lily. Mint and lemon tea a few days before you start your period, stops your period. But the only benefit you get from that, is that you don't have to wear pads. The mood swings are worse then when you actually HAVE your period. 🤦♀️
The period cramps are still there and worse. But hey, you don't have to keep changing your pad. 🙄 Can you tell, that I've tried it all? 😂🤦♀️
Hi. Im sure you will not see this nut I've been watching your videos for quite some time now. Haven't commented but love your videos. Very hard worker. Keep being you and stay safe. Happy holidays to ya and im sure you're tired of hearing this but i think आप खूबसूरत हैं
I can empathize w/horrible periods. I also knew I didn't want kids. Had my tubes tied 4 yrs. ago, & the awful periods, crippling cramps, monthly $$$ were instantly a thing of the past: ceased after the procedure, & I've never regretted it! :)
This really sucks to see that the only video which are any way related to anything "INDIAN" only are performing well. Also YT doesn't prolly even recommend your vids to most of your Indian subscribers cuz those videos ain't prolly performing well in that region. Also that having over 2 Million subs and hardly getting 70k views on even the best performing videos of yours which don't have the "Indian" word in it, I guess that's a sign to look for better-ing your content.
With Love
