I love my 26 for conceal carry. I have my 19 for home but my 26 is my every day carry. Shoots like the 19 but the shorter barrel makes it so much more comfortable when in a seated position. Great video, thanks.
For me, the G26 along with the G19 (maintaining the same generation between the two) are the most versatile pair on the market. I do carry both and the grip length between them gives me great ability depending on my dress. Both are highly concealable. A two finger grip on the G26 is easily trainable and not a deterrent to my choice. Using an Xgrip on my G19 magazine gives me a 15+1 capacity on my G26 with the same length of a G19. So if I can and will carry the G19, I can also carry the G26 extended. Parts are interchangeable if needed and the 4” G19 barrel runs in the G26, no issues. The weight and the girth of the platforms, compared to the lighter and slimmer girth of the 43 or 43x, gives me great repeatable shot control using the same cartridge 9mm. The ergonomics between the G26 and G19 are slightly different, however shooting one your training on both. New shooters should rent and shoot many different platforms prior to focusing on any platform. What feels good at the store counter is not as expected on the range with an actual shot. I do love the Glock platforms, but not all work for me, as the lighter slimmer new platforms. If, for some reason, I do need smaller, it’s the G42 for shot control.
Got a 365 and carried it for about a year; now carry the G26 Gen 5. Bought the 26 about 3 months ago and I am hands down more comfortable with it. The Sig is a nice gun and all but I shoot better with and feel more confident with the Glock. The 26 is a little harder to conceal but switched to appendix carry and that eliminated the printing I had at the 4 o’clock with summer/tshirt carry. I wasn’t a Glock fanboy but am now; love the fact that all of their firearms function the same and have similar ergonomics. I can pick up a 19, 43, 42, 27, whatever, and know how the weapon works and how to shoot it well. What’s even better is the fact I can use a 19 mag in it if I need the extra rounds. So, between the two, 26 all the way.
Man I've carried my gen4 glock 26 for 7 years. I'm debating trying the 365. Just for the width. But I also know if shtf there's way more glock mags to be acquired. I'm torn. I love glock and sig. But glock just seems to always work.
Had been the owner of a Glock 26 and a Springfield XD 9mm 3 subcompact.., for a long while and they had become my go to daily guns instinctively. I did not choose them, their versatility made them the best concealed guns I had and favorite. I also have several .45 but, I keep loving both of them.
I rented and loved shooting the P365. Very easy shooter and accurate, but I went Gen5 26 because I've much invested in G17 mags I can swap in. Mags in various capacity of 10, 12, 15 w/ G19 mag+ x-grip feels great. Carrying a Gen2 G17 mag as backup (from '92! How awesome is that? In a Gen 5) seems like a no-brainer. Accuracy for the G26 is not far off from the P365, for me.
Great video. I have no experience with the Sig 365, but I love the Glock 26. That finish you have on yours is my favorite. It is so durable and I think it looks good too. The Glock 26 is such a versatile gun.
I have Glock mags in my truck and all around my house. Knowing that they all fit my 26 is a major selling point for me. I used to carry a 19 but now it’s 26 all day.
For comfort I like my Shield 9 or Shield 45 , for a more sketchy environment I like my G 27 with a +2 base and a G 22 spare mag. Good comparison vid , I don't currently own any Sig's and really don't plan on getting any unless it would be a p226 or larger , I am perfectly happy with my Glock's & S&W M&P's.
The wider Glock grip makes shooting easy. Added a sleeve to make it a great fit. Still rocking mine. Shoots like a Glock 19. The ability to scale up to a fun stick is a plus that makes it a standout. And my Extar also uses Glock Mags.
I looked at both guns but the Sig P365 was the better gun right out of the box. Glocks are like Lego sets that need to be upgraded by junking the awful plastic sights and crappy trigger right after you buy one. The Sig had great night sights and an excellent trigger without making any changes. After 2 years I modified the 10 and 12 round mags with plus 2 kits from Magguts Inc. So they are now 12 and 14 round mags with the changes to factory mags. I found the Sig to be more accurate than my old Springfield XDS.
Despite the cool micro high-cap 9's like the P365, the Hellcat, S&W Shield Plus...the Glock 26 is just a more robust mini 9 with an amazing track record.
I like the micro pistols and carry a 365 for summer carry. But the 26 has been out since the early 90s. Most of them still operate just fine to this day. I wonder how those micro compacts will hold up after 20 some odd years.
I’d say Glock 26 since the length difference will help offset extended mags with regards to ccw holstering. Also, I do not know Sig at all but I do know that all double stack Glock mags will work on this gun (10,12,15,17…..)
I have a P365 and Glock 27 in .40 s&w. The 365 is an awesome gun, but like the Glock 26, my Glock 27 is tried and true reliable. I've have had it for many years, and have never had a problem. Either gun is a great choice.
Really enjoyed your video. I have a USA made G26 gen 4 with the good old frying pan finish. Still looks as new as the day I bought it. I believe it to be the most durable finish on a pistol.
I love my G 26 Gen and I love my Sig P365. I really love the Wislon Combat Grip module for the Sig P365. It feels like a brand new gun. It cost about 70.00 and worth every penny. I would reccoment to all. Best of luck.
Glock has a better track record. That alone is reason to go with the glock. I own the p365xl and like it a lot, but I have 2 friends whose 365s broke already and now I'm a bit insecure with my purchase. I've worked law enforcement for 11 years and can't remember a time when one of our glocks went down.
The first P365’s released had some reliability issues with breaking, but from what I’ve heard the modern generation of P365’s are nearly indestructible, similar to the Glock 26. Do you know when they bought their sigs by any chance?
I own both. The 365 is more comfortable to wear no doubt, the 26 shoots better and I feel absolutely confident it will function if I need it. Wish Glock would slim it down a bit and still maintain 10+1
@@AVKingJamesBible It is, but it might be worth a try. It’s still concealable and it might be more comfortable to carry. I haven’t shot a 26 and 43x side by side, but I’d be willing to try it. Lots of great choices these days.
I don't even own a Glock these days, but I had two G26 pistols and a G33, and I agree with everything you said. If I can find a frying pan Glock Gen4, I'll buy it. My Gen4's finish was horrible and I don't like the Gen5 ambi slide stop because it gets in my way. That said, I don't trust the P365. One thing to contemplate regarding the P320 and how it relates to the P365. When various videos were recorded of the P320 discharging, not only was it documented to go off from multiple angles (and not just the inertia hit from the rear), but a slow motion video demonstrated that it went off and the trigger DID NOT MOVE AT ALL. Not at all. Certainly not enough to actuate the sear. So what happened? I read the DOD report which didn't help much, but it did allude to the "fix" creating other problems. My question is, What the heck happened to the striker block? THAT is what I think failed. The trigger didn't move, so either the sear deactivated itself, or the striker block failed, but it could not have anything to do with the trigger moving. Anyway, great job. You really nailed this comparison.
This video is amazing. Because everyone now in days always talks about how the 365 kills the 26. Bro how you said best the 365 doesn't offer anything the 26 doesn't already does.
I own them both. The 365 does surpass the Glock when it comes to width, weight, and sights. But it's still a toss-up between which one I'll carry any given day.
You missed mentioning the Sig Sauer P365X, the shorter slide of the original P365, but with the extended grip, optics cut and flat trigger of the P365XL...in my opinion the P365X is the best of them all and I carry it everyday with the Holosun 407k
If you have other Glocks or a Ruger PC 9 , the Glock is the way to go. The Glock also shoots like a full size pistol and handles recoil better. Was considering a Sig, but the Glock just makes more sense especially if things get nasty, compatible mags makes a lot of sense, like having a 1911 and a Commander
In CA, we don’t have many options to choose our gun. For example, we can’t buy G43, P365, gen 4 or later Glocks, etc. Also, magazine max capacity is 10 rounds.
When I was choosing between the SIG P365. or the Springfield Hellcat. I chose the hellcat because I shot it a little bit better, but more importantly, because of the drop issues, the P320 was having. And I know that same trigger is on the P365. And to this day, I won't buy one because of that. Once they put a trigger safety in, then I'll think about the P365. But right now, I do not trust SIG Striker Fire Handguns
Thanks, good video. Now I finally understand the Glock "trigger safety feature" ... I thought that that was to prevent the trigger from hooking onto something and causing an accidental discharge. It's inertia!
I purchased sig p365, but after shooting in range I decided change to glock 26. P365 is hard to have tight group on target, cause it’s to small grip sights .
I've wanted something in 9mm in the compact wonder 9... But I pull out my glock 26 and I don't see anything that is worth the trade off. I carry a +2 base along with night fision sights.
my p365 striker broke after less than 300 round. been carrying a brick for the past 2 months without knowing. coulda cost me my life. sig knew about this problem and didnt do a mandatory recall on it. rubbed me the wrong way and i traded my p365 for a walther ppks. (for collector purpose) i now carry the g26 and the springfield hellcat.
When I called Sig about problems with their strikers breaking they claimed there were no problems. This doesn’t instill much confidence. Unfortunately guns are like guitars in one aspect; the manufacturers pay people to endorse their products. So look for what is carried by the pros that can have any gun they want and price is not an issue.
I purchased a used Gen 4 GK-26. Functions good, hitting high and to the right of my aim. Is there adjustment ? or would a steel rod help it ? At 10 yards outside , paper targets. I have to compensate aim basically to be on.
G-26s are small and can often have more felt recoil, tricking a shooter into reacting to it without thinking about it. Off on a single axis (Just right or just high) can be sight adjustment or choice of 6 o'clock vs 12 o'clock hold. High right is commonly caused by recoil anticipation causing you to push the gun just as you fire. A great way to detect this is take a snapcap to the range and have somebody load your mag without you seeing and place the snapcap randomly in the stack. If this is what is happening you will see it when you "fire" that dummy round.
@Hammer Striker I'm sure flinching plays a role , I do have other pistols that are right on with ease. I'm going to try more once winter let's up. Have backyard range.
Not knocking your choice but I prefer the 26 after having owned it and the 27. Now maybe that's due to having the 26 first but the weight of the 27 is noticeable, shooting wise though, no difference. Never thought the 27 was more snappy than the 26, so it's really a what flavor do you like and can't go wrong either way, especially with ammo prices bring them both to basically the same price (at least where I live).
I agree with you on the 27 in my opinion it was a no brainer to get the 27 and now I’m looking to pick up a conversion barrel for it to be able to shoot 9 mm out of it as well get in the best of both worlds out of one gun
Owning a gun (or more) in my country is somewhat complicated and the price of legal gun can be insanely expensive (even discount prize for government officer). The discount price (for government officer) is 1,500 usd for 26 and 960 usd for P365. (Market price for non officer is around 3,000 usd for both of them.) So, if you are officer here, P365 is a clear winner. But...well, as I have both. P365 is great but 26 is far better in my opinion.
Somewhere in Southeast Asia. The worse is that even you have a gun, you can't carry a loaded gun in public if you don't have special licence (which is limited to law enforcement officer and very few others). If you shot any attacker to protect yourself. First, you will also be charged for carrying a gun in public, then follow by a long process of trial to proove that you protect yourself "properly" and "reasonably". If you are not law enforcer here, having a gun for self defense only leads you to eternal dilemma. Illegally carrying a legal gun in public for self defense or legally leave it at home and pray that you will be fine out there. Well, the law permit you to legally carry unloaded gun locked in box or safe container, but only for transportation purpose. To be clear, my country is generally safe. The crime rate is normal to moderate and there are only a few cases of mass shooting. It is not like you are in danger in broad daylight. Most of us live thier lives without any trouble. But there are who, when and where that you shouldn't risk your life unprepared.
@Fluffy Panda Yeah. Have heard bad things about them. I have just had very good luck I guess. They seemed a little rough, but I just (cleaned and) lightly oiled them and used 7000 grit on the edges of the feed ramps and they're very smooth and function flawlessly. (I do this with all new mags though).
another good video. I like both. I ran glock for ?10? yrs but now I love the sigs. especially the 320. and the x line is in my opinion, awesome. not as many extra parts yet but that's also changing. and the quality of the sig out the box is on point. great comparison sir.thank you
Love my G26. Put Big Dot sights on it... love those too. These are two fine handguns with small differences in size ... (maybe not enough to matter). My Glock has been 100% reliable even with mud or saw dust in it (I work in the woods) and I shoot it well.
Great video. It brings a historical reference for new shooters to see and understand that the G26 is still relevant today. Like most I carry a G23/"19" in the winter and a G27/ "26" for summertime. But like everyone I went thru the odyssey of single stack 9mm or 380acp for summer carry because of their size, thickness and weight compared to the G27. From the Nano, XDS, Shield, Bodyguard, TCP, and Pico but in the end capacity always came up which the G27/26 had. Since 2018 when I purchased the P365 my journey for a perfect blend of a very small handgun with enough capacity ended. But I did have to thicken the P365 grip by adding a Pachmyr slip-on grip to make it thicker like the G27. Everything you brought up in this comparison is right on the money. I still have my G23 and G27 because they still are useful and reliable. Keep up the great work brother.
Thank you. This G26 is still my EDC, though I do have a few things I will use when I either need more power for the place I am going to be (G29 for the woods) or smaller footprint due to clothing (G42/43).
Have both, Sig carries better in the pocket but the glock definitely shoots better. So it depends, G26 for belt carry and P365 for pocket depending on which I want to do
My current version of the P365 has thumb safety. I can release the safety. It is releasable in the holster. I certainly have my eyes on picking up a Glock. Not sure which model. I do like CCW guns.
if weight of gun is a big issue I’d consider the 43x I love mine and it carries 15 flush can’t beat that for the size. If weight doesn’t matter grab a 26 it’s my fav edc just bought my first p365 last week
@7:34 you may want to get a different set of rear sights. One is bigger than the other...which tells me one of your eyes is more dominant than the other. A larger rear right dot sight may help. Or get them changed to a more vibrant color so it wont grey out inside your vision. Make sure they're even in circumference though. I am legally blind, this is a problem I have. It may not seem like much, but give it a try. Sometimes it's the little things that make a difference.
I think it’s already been said…the best combo for folks that already own a G17/19 is to at least own a G26 simply for the magazine interchangeability. And I KNOW my Glocks will go bang when I pull the trigger…every time
I used to love sig but I am fed up with how they beta test their gear using us the consumer, It's like they want us to pay for the testing and evaluation as well as the end product.. not cool.
I have the Sig. And I carry it daily. I have tried Glocks in several calibers, 9 mm, .40 S&W, .45 ACP, and every one of them "bite" my trigger finger. I don't have that issue with my Sig. It could just be my hand, I don't know. But I couldn't argue with either one. I just PREFER the Sig.
Unfortunately they are hard to find right now, your best options are constant Google searches and possibly the auction sites. Most mainstream retailers are out of stock.
Had the P365 but ended up going with Glock instead in the long run. After the way Sig has handled the entire P320 issue (and we all know what that is), I have lost trust in the company. The G26.5 is a rock you can rely on.
When shopping for my first EDC, I shot a lot of rounds through both at my local range. For me the fit, feel, recoil, thinner dimension, shorter barrel length, concealability and aesthetics of the P365 were all superior to the Glock. Factor in better sights and a better feeling trigger and there wasn't any doubt which one I preferred.
My 26 carries nicely im 5,6 125 at best and I don't worry about it printing or anything the 26 is far superior to the 42 I have friends say they hate there 42s and they stay in the safe
Just bought a stainless P365 3 weeks ago. Every time I carry it, it rusts. Ridiculous. Can’t return it which sucks. Trade in value is likely a joke. I’m stuck now. Don’t talk to me about firearm maintenance. I’ve CLP’d it several times and it still happens - slide, mag release, sights. Unacceptable. The Glock 19 I carried was flawless.
Ballistol, stinks like crazy when applied but a light sheen and it won't rust, use it on all mine especially 1911's. It's a game changer for black powder which rusts just because the sun came up, lol.
@@w.webster2102 lol thanks man. I'll likely purchase some. E-mailed SIG about the rust over the weekend and would like to send them pics and see what they can offer.
YeH the sig finish isn’t great at all. I have stainless and black. The black scratches and has holster wear like immediately after a couple of holster and un holstering. I definitely need to maintain the stainless more.
@@matmon4953 365 is more comfortable to carry but it conceals so well it’s hard to get a master grip from appendix with the standard 365 grip. I’m going to swap for the XL grip and see if it helps. it’s pretty close up to preference really. I personally shoot the 26 better but haven’t had nearly as much range time with the sig yet.
It is a great gun. But when I went to buy mine the hellcat just fit my hand much better. I liked the hellcat sights better. Get an extra round in the hellcat. So I went in to buy the 365 and I walked out with the hellcat. Don’t regret it
I always go back to my 26 as a small gun. I primarily carry a 19, so mag interchangeability makes the 19 and 26 the best combo for my needs.

I EDC a gen3 26 with fiber optic truglos & a talon grip I also have a 12 round mag the OEM one with the pinky extension it’s perfect 👌
Probably bought the older sig that just came out. If you bought the 2021 sig, there's no issues whatsoever
Exactly. Feels safe with a glock. Thanks for your service ! BACK THE BLUE !
Wish Glock would slim it down a bit and still maintain 10+1
........but then it'd be the same thing as the p365.........
@@farstrider79 yes, but I prefer Glock over Sig 🙂
@@AVKingJamesBible Wouldn’t that slimmer Glock 10+1 be the 43x?
@@mikem2132 yes, however they just lengthened the grip to get 10+1. The grip is where you will print most in my opinion.
Thank you.
Good video. I still carry Glocks but my wife and daughter both prefer the Sig. You can't go wrong really with either.
That's because Glocks are not good for small hands
Laying on the couch now with my G26G5 in my pocket right now. Literally.
This video is amazing. Because everyone now in days always talks about how the 365 kills the 26. Bro how you said best the 365 doesn't offer anything the 26 doesn't already does.
Thank you. I have the P365 and like it but still pick up my G26 when I roll out.
I own them both. The 365 does surpass the Glock when it comes to width, weight, and sights. But it's still a toss-up between which one I'll carry any given day.
The 365 blows the glock away.
@@ericwilliams5764 365 isn’t even a pimple on g26 butt.
This was a great review.
Thanks, good video. Now I finally understand the Glock "trigger safety feature" ... I thought that that was to prevent the trigger from hooking onto something and causing an accidental discharge. It's inertia!
Right at the start of the video I saw that high bore axis on the Sig and said no way.
Have you actually shot one?
I owned one. It shoots kinda soft but other than that I was not impressed. Its gone. Failures. Not on my watch. 26 all year
I have shot both i have the G43 both are great out of the box. But always been a Glock guy. Sig is great also just preference to me
I purchased sig p365, but after shooting in range I decided change to glock 26. P365 is hard to have tight group on target, cause it’s to small grip sights .
I've wanted something in 9mm in the compact wonder 9... But I pull out my glock 26 and I don't see anything that is worth the trade off. I carry a +2 base along with night fision sights.
I wish shield arms would come out with a mag for the g26 or standard 43.
Is that little bit of thickness going to make a difference in concealability? Probably not
I have a 365 XL, 365 380 , and a gen 4 26. I went with the 380 version as it’s a bit lighter and easier to shoot for myself.
my p365 striker broke after less than 300 round. been carrying a brick for the past 2 months without knowing. coulda cost me my life. sig knew about this problem and didnt do a mandatory recall on it. rubbed me the wrong way and i traded my p365 for a walther ppks.
G26 all day everyday
. The Glock 26 is the only sub compact that could stand in for a full size handgun.
with a 32 rd mag too
Glock 29
26 26 26 26 and 26. Sig? Never heard of her
I think the best all around gun would be the Glock 27 (40 caliber) with 30% more power, same size, and firepower up to 23 rounds. Just my opinion.
@@juarez6947 can you use 9mm mags for .40?
Owning a gun (or more) in my country is somewhat complicated and the price of legal gun can be insanely expensive (even discount prize for government officer). The discount price (for government officer) is 1,500 usd for 26 and 960 usd for P365. (Market price for non officer is around 3,000 usd for both of them.) So, if you are officer here, P365 is a clear winner.
But...well, as I have both. P365 is great but 26 is far better in my opinion.
Holly crap ! What country?
@@5AM-9PM you are in Thailand, i guess
I think Promag makes 20rd and 32rd magazines for the P365. Not sure if they're reliable though. They're much cheaper than factory mags though.
I ran glock for ?10? yrs but now I love the sigs. especially the 320. and the x line is in my opinion, awesome. not as many extra parts yet but that's also changing. and the quality of the sig out the box is on point. great comparison sir.thank you
Thank you.
Love my G26. Put Big Dot sights on it... love those too.
These are two fine handguns with small differences in size ... (maybe not enough to matter). My Glock has been 100% reliable even with mud or saw dust in it (I work in the woods) and I shoot it well.
26 all day, plus I don’t wanna have the sig discharge and blow my balls off like they’re known to do.
@@HammerStriker Always good to have options.
I just traded my glock 26 gen 4 for a Sig p365 Spectre. I hope I can live with my decision. I actually like both guns.

Glock 26 gen 3 here and absolutely love it.
Should not this comparison be between *_the Glock 43/43X vs the SIG P365?_* I wonder why not?
Yep, but the sig still holds more. Unless you get an aftermarket mag for the Glock.
I own all three and carry the g26 the most
@7:34 you may want to get a different set of rear sights.
And I KNOW my Glocks will go bang when I pull the trigger…every time
That is a good thing lol. Love my glocks

Thank you.
Carried a 365 for a couple years, moving on to a 26. Yes, the 365 is marginally smaller, but to me, the 26 is infinitely more shootable.
Got glocks AND sigs. Still have my glocks. Sigs have failed on me. Immediate turnoff
Me too. Very disappointed
Glock 29 had been my edc been considering the 365 it is super comfey

I have the Sig. And I carry it daily.
I have tried Glocks in several calibers, 9 mm, .40 S&W, .45 ACP, and every one of them "bite" my trigger finger. I don't have that issue with my Sig. It could just be my hand, I don't know. But I couldn't argue with either one. I just PREFER the Sig.
Great vid. Hey I’m looking for a Draco AK47 micro. Where can I get one from?
Unfortunately they are hard to find right now, your best options are constant Google searches and possibly the auction sites. Most mainstream retailers are out of stock.

Had the P365 but ended up going with Glock instead in the long run. After the way Sig has handled the entire P320 issue (and we all know what that is), I have lost trust in the company. The G26.5 is a rock you can rely on.
26 all day!!
I’m a smaller guy in California the dictator newsen dictates that I can’t have a p365 so I’ll go g26 not regretting it
I’m not from Cali but here in NYC Bugs Bunny hochul rather not have anyone owning a gun.
The scary magazine he is referring to holds 30 rounds, its very scary. Jig Saw looks under his bed at night for Mr.30 round magazine
No one has said anything about the recoil of both guns.
Recoil depends on the shooter. If you're doing it right recoil is minimal no matter what pistol you're shooting
