Back in 1968 or 69, when I was a very young kid; went with my parents for lunch at the Polaris room. At the time it was the tallest building in Atlanta and had an unobstructed view. Going up in the elevator as you show, a woman almost passed out when the elevator went "through the roof". Question is, does it no longer rotate?
Just to let you know you didnt see 23 and 24 on your way down those buttons are in a very hidden spot they are not on the main controller they are bellow the buttons to open and close the door if u are ever here again might be worth checking out
it used to rotate my uncle worked there in the 80s
FINALLY it's open. I was here back in 2011 and it wasn't open.

FINALLY got to experience the ride the way DieselDucy did back in '93!
All the way to the past.
Polaris is technically the 24th floor because it skips floor 13 and the 3 lower levels makes it 27 floors

How did this restaurant close a decade ago?
If you look closer toward the bottom you can see the 23rd floor button
The restaurant was closed in 2004!
What happened?
+ems318 You put that it was 10 years But you said 12 years in the video
I’m scared of heights, so can I take the stairs to Polaris?
Do any of the service elevators go up there?
No. The service elevators only go up to 22.
When Blue lived in Atlanta, Polaris was closed.
Have you ever heard the fire alarms go off here before
Finally!!!!! So cool
Is this by chance one of those revolving dining room restaurants like the Skylon has?
+Nathan Andrew Davis (Bantam Jeep Elevators) No you are thinking of the Sun Dial at the Westin Peachtree Plaza.
At one time it was a revolving restaurant.
Just like the (now closed) restaurant atop the RenCen!
I work in that silver building with the glass windows
I think this would be my first time of my life for Polaris to be open because I am only 9 years old.
Nice that the top floor is unlocked
Polaris is closed on Weekends.
Hallelujah it's open yay😺😸
PH is open like radio city
Could you access Polaris on the service elevator or was it locked off before this
+ivan reid No you cannot access it from the service elevator.
