Just tried the process. My third try on just regular copy paper actually worked. I stamped an image on it first with archival black ink. Then went to work on it. The paper did turn a bit grey but the image is still great. I first tried on geli printed paper. That i do with unprinted newspaper. I tore it to shreds trying. So used on a boarder for another project. The second try was construction paper. I tore it to shreds. The next two were copy paper. Both did great. The first i tried to stamp on after, not a print. So i stamped first, then started process. It looks great. Thanks so much for your video. I love all of your papers. Take care, be safe.
Inks on notebook paper and copy paper work great. Juat be gentle as you crush paper. I always start by folding at quarter inch intervals in all directions. Then i start the kneading or crushing into a ball.
@@jeraldbaxter3532, no I used digitals that I printed on my printer. It is an eco-tank inkjet printer. The colors did really nice. Thank you for watching!
thank you very much. I am just learning this technique . The forest paper did you print it yourself on ink jet or laser printer? I can seem to fins stock photos that are interesting to print. Thanks
Thank you for watching. I printed the paper from the kit that I purchased from Luise Heinzl. She developed a digital kit specifically for Dephemerember 2023. Check out her store and see what she has. I also print stock photos as well.
Mam, you have good content, but your camera is at a very bad angle and it shows only half of your work surface. I think you need to move it behind you so we can see everything from the same side you see it. That will make your videos easier to watch and follow. 🌼
I've watched a number of videos about this process. (I used to do this with notebook paper when I was a child many decades ago!) I tried using a page from a magazine last night. It had a glossy finish, and I did all of the crumpling without using any oil or lotion. The colors faded significantly and I wound up with a dusty film of residue all over my work surface. I found the result quite disappointing and the clean-up tedious. I will try it again with oil to see if that helps to preserve the surface. I will also do it outside, just in case that dusty film wasn't a one-off situation.
That is the key to learning new things......keep trying until you get it like you want it! I am so glad that you are trying the things you see in my videos! Wow!
Mine tears easily. I was hoping it would be tougher to make into useable items, like sunglass case, or purse. Is there anything you can spray on to toughen it up?
Thank you for watching! Actually, no. These papers were printed using my Epson ET-2760 Inkjet printer. A laser would be awesome, but I can't afford one of those yet.
You can also use this paper for journal covers. I use regular copy paper which is 8 1/2 x 11" so it is usually not big enough to use on a journal, but you could if you make a smaller journal. I hope this helps.

I'm sure it must be laser printed. Inkjet ink bleeds a lot.

I have not tried spraying anything on it. You might try spray acrylic or Mod Podge....I am not sure how that works
I am assuming these are laser printed papers Am I right. Thanks for sharing this.
