Thank you so much for this. It's something every mother tells their own children. Do they listen is another thing. But we live in a society with no morals or self awareness. These pr- adults are living in a fast / self gratifying environment thinking there's no consequences.
I’m not going out clubbing these days, but any time I’m hiking alone or I’m on a road trip solo or I’m in an Uber, I share my location with my husband. Thanks for this video, it’s great content. I also want to say your channel membership benefits are really strong! This is the only UA-cam channel I’m currently a member of, and you give us lots of value every day. Thank you!
The rideshare advice is vital. I was a rideshare driver and you would be amazed at how few people check the license plates and driver. I also was shocked at how many female passengers told me that a driver had kept the child locks engaged, and refused to unlock the door until the passenger gave them their phone number or agreed to a date. You can’t depend on the apps panic button either. I needed it as a passenger, and it didn’t work. I take a screenshot of the driver info, confirm the car and driver before getting in the car, and NEVER go to sleep in the car. Actually, that is good advice on public transportation, too.
Thanks for your lived experience. I love the engagement. We need people in the comments to share as well so not only will some 19 year old hear my advise but also hear from experienced adults and woman.
This is such a GREAT video!I’ve seen so many sad cases where , like you said the victim was separated from her friends while out and ended up being really hurt or worse.
But you do now so share your experiences and resources like this video with the next generation. This stuff isn't talked about or addressed in pop culture. We need to warn them of the dangers that exist.
Rule of thumb: if a guy or girl pressures you to take a drink, dance, give your number in a crowded bar, never go anywhere less crowded with them. Someone who won’t take no for an answer in a crowd, certainly won’t in private.
I was rhohyyped ( mickey finned) in the 90s with devastating consequences for me, not so much for the perp I only hope karma caught up with him. But the ghost of those consequences still haunt me.

Life is all about consequences. We need to help this new generation find balance so they don't find out the hard way
This a great video. It should be taught in high schools and colleges! Much needed PSA!!!
Thanks eidle
Best video 🙏💖

This is the best, most realistic advice. It should be played in every high school, and at every college, especially to freshman students.
Thank you so much

Great advice. If your best foot forward when you meet someone is to not be respectful of their boundaries. That's definitely a red flag
NEVER leave your drink unattended for ANY reason!

It's really unfortunate but law enforcement response was terrible back in those days. The science was bad back in the day as well
You have to be vigilant about your safety. There are a lot of people in the world that do not have your best interests at heart.
This was a very informative and important video. Thank you so much.
Thank you very much
